We had essentially fresh cater our work Christmas party, the food and staff were absolutely fantastic with service and presentation.The chicken profiteroles were mouth watering goodness.Thanks again guys. Would recommend

The deli and fresh breads here are amazing! Sometimes the fruit can be slightly over-priced, but it's usually pretty good quality, which you often don't mind paying a little extra for. They also do a pretty good coffee.

Wonderful little deli. Great selection of meats, cheese, olives and other various goodies. Lovely staff too. There are also microwave meals and pizzas available that are made in house daily. All basic groceries are available, veg, milk, sauces etcAll in all a great place

Recently arranged for catering for my wife's birthday party on Magnetic Island. The team @ Essentially Fresh were extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Most importantly....the food was OUTSTANDING. The variety and value meant that we ordered way too much and we had incredible leftovers for days!

As stores such as this go, it's pretty good. Good points : wonderful selection of a huge variety of things. Great vinegars, sauces, jams etc. The non perishable items are fantastic, great lines and very good quality. Their veggies are absolutely top quality. One slightly not-so-good point : the cheese selection. The selection itself is pretty good but it pains me to say I have purchased cheeses from here on four different occasions and was disappointed each time. I won't go into a blow by blow run down, suffice it to say perhaps they need to look at enclosing the refrigerated cabinet they show them in. Or somehow focussing on the temperature. Everything else in the shop is fabulous. I'm a bit old school, I find the more mature staff members are a great asset to the deli. Whilst the younger ones might be all that's hip and happening, they just don't cut it in the customer service area. All in all, one of the better deli shops and worth driving across town for.

I’m saddened I have to rate this low. We ordered 3 platters to take out for a wedding event, I was very clear through emails what I needed. I even called to triple check because I never received a response, upon arrival there were only 2 platters they hadn’t read the email correctly and forgot the large platter, we were told they could have it done by 6pm so we were fine to come back and get the platter later in the afternoon (we didn’t have much of a choice) (I didn’t make a deal out of it because I couldn’t be bothered and we needed it for guests) anyways when we got back the platter they had forgotten was much more expensive than the mini one we got in the morning so I expected it to be much much bigger but it wasn’t.. instead this platter that was triple the price of the mini one was pretty much the exact same size with one meat ?? So a cheese platter that was supposed to feed a larger amount was the same size as a cheese platter that was to feed much much less.. not to mention (we received a $6 discount for the mess up of the forgotten platter) unfortunately we wouldn’t order from this company again. Good sandwiches but.

Today I stopped in to buy some cup cakes , bought three together. I asked if it was chocolate young girl said yes, as I said its for a four year old. The children didn't eat them and it was coffee, and they were so dry and not fresh, the icing was so thick. I trued them and I could of used it as a cricket ball and this cost me over Ten dollars ....I will make my own instead of taking shirt cuts ...

The food is great there. The service and staff are great. It's a place to go back too.

I sent a sweet box to my granddaughter. It looked amazing and she confirmed that the food was absolutely fantastic, she loved everything in it. It was delivered on time and was fresh and delicious. Thank you to Nardia she was professional and very helpful . Grandma in Newcastle
