Baffle Creek Fishing Lodge and Camping

2nd time here. Spent 3 nights. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Not many other campers. Large sites. Fishing was patchy due to drought conditions, but caught Flathead, trevally, and mangrove jack. Other campers caught Barra but we didn't.

The owners are lovely and not in your face so that when you set up they leave you alone. We chose the powered sites for $22 p/n right in the corner of the property near the trees. We had heaps of shade and the toilets were flush toilets. Very clean. The only downer for me was the camp kitchen but other than that it was 9/10! The kitchen was very basic and i have to say alittle dirty. But overall worth the money. We will come back. The little pond was refreshing to swim in and if you have children they will love it. We only bought a small kayak but my husband still managed to catch us dinner of a nice sized flathead. All sites have fire pits as the property had a ton of dead wood you can have for free but you have to cut it up yourself so a nice little saw will do the job.

Not the best experience we have had at a park !On arrival we both spoke to the man and he said $20 a night and $5 for power, when we paid next day it was $40/ night and web site said a/c extra.No mains water supply , fair enuf but not at that price, had better cheaper elswhere. Well kept and tidy but you must have your boat for fishing as cant access river exept for boat ramp.

We have spent a lovely weekend at Midskinrick. The owners were amazing, friendly and very helpful. We used the non-powered site and it was great. Lots of room and loads of animals that call Midskinrick home as well. There was kangaroos, hares and multiple varieties of birds. The facilities were great. I recommend highly.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property after reading the reviews we nearly didn't pick this place, but price wise we went and I have to say it's just lovely, thick green grass under foot, welcomed with a happy smile from the owner, boat ramp right on the property, clean toilets, showers and camp kitchens, lots of places to camp and heaps of room to spread out, very quite, lots of birds and kangaroos, loved our stay,

Great spot. Well maintained couldn't be more helpfully great pricing friendly facilities access to baffle creek (river) just the place to be. Planing our next visit already and haven't left. Any luck we may not

Such a friendly atmosphere. Doug and Di make you feel so welcome. The Lodge is 10 out of 10 with everything at your fingertips. All you need to bring is food, clothes and beverages. Pets are welcome and the kids can swim in the dam. A very quiet and picturesque holiday area. Thanks Doug and Di!!!

Great with a couple of families and tinnies. Top fishing, open fire and a cold beer.
