My name is Dorothy, I just passed my IELTS (7.5,7,7.5,7 ). I am writing this review to thank Kevin for his help with my IELTS exam. Before attending Kevin's tutorials, I had several attempts in IELTS and always got 6 or 6.5 in the writing section and I was very disappointed with my result. Kevin is professional in IELTS and has lots of experience in tutoring IELTS. In the first class, he easily pointed out my weak point in writing and taught me how to respond to the question and avoided losing marks. The most interesting part of Kevin's class was brainstorming. I have recently sat for IELTS English Test and had a few failed attempts in the past. I realised I needed help from an experienced tutor and I found Kevin. Kevin is a great IELTS tutor. After only approximately 6 hours of intensive tutoring, I got the scores I needed (L 7.5, R 8.5, W 7, S 7.5) in my first attempt after the lessons I had with Kevin. I followed Kevin's teaching advice to improve my score, mainly for the writing part of the IELTS. Through practice exercises, we identified my weaknesses and corrected them, one by one. I finally got 7 in that band which was critical to my visa application. Kevin is available, patient, diligent and of great advice. I do recommend his classes.

Kevin is good and knowledgeable tutor. I unfortunately was not able to achieved my desired band 8 score (from band 7) in IELTS with his help, however he did have some very useful tips.Note * there were a few mishaps in terms of times/scheduling (lateness, unable to access office) which can be perceived as unprofessional and were displeasing at the time. However, Kevin made sure to solve these situations to the best of his ability.

Best tutor to score high points.

I took writing lessons from Kevin two weeks before the test and got 7 which was my my ideal score. What I would like to point out is that Kevin is familiar with the criterion of the test and focused on the structure of essays. Following his instructions and practicing more, you would get it.

Kevin identified my problem in writing and helped me to understand how to improve my coherence and cohesion. After years of being stuck in a 6.5 band, I finally got 7 in writing.
