Never the same as before Michael Vaughan left

Ryan - Didn't quite like the enviroment as a student, lovely teachers and staff easy going canteen

It's a big school with excellent bathroom facilities.

Terrible school with no control of the students

they look like they can't swim

I can now say this as I have left the school ( former student, left back in 2021):Firstly, I want to put it out there that the new Principal may change things for the better.The school has an excellent environment with some excellent teachers who make it their life goal for me to succeed in their subject, don't get me wrong, I still keep in contact with those teachers on a regular basis. They made school worth coming to.The problem is how the bad apples ruin it for the school and made me NOT want to come at all.One prime example was when I decided to cut someone who was a former friend off after they bullied me and just being an annoying person in general. That kid complained to the deputy principal (at the time) and her response was to force me to give the guy another chance after the thousands of chances I gave him. I was in tears at the pure anger I had at that deputy principal for taking his side and not considering my side at all. I am allowed to be friends with whoever I wanted to be.Another issue is with how SOME of the teachers reacted when they found out I have autism, they simply thought I was a no hope and that he won't go anywhere in life. One former art teacher thought I was stupid until I suddenly said the word melancholy". She then suddenly thought I was the smartest student in the class

OK for a large public school, I guess but it would be great to see teachers more motivated to teach and maintain a better discipline in classes.

Had the pleasure of speaking two young ladies from the school while at bowling today very polite and respectful

Not only was the bullying so horrible that people were getting injured, but the principal didn't care about anyone, had the audacity to ask me why i was crying and told me to get over my anxiety. The kids were out of control with no work ever being done, some of the teachers were insulting and rude, rumours spread fast and everyone was picked on. I heard someone threaten to commit suicide and no teachers picked up on it!I had to leave due to it causing mental health problems, there was kids calling out to me and slurring.- Romanna
