Great coffee. Good place to stop for something to eat and a coffee when travelling. Staff is very friendly and has great service.

Stopped in Willow Tree for lunch. Ended up trying the Gate Cafe. Extremely clean, well presented and wonderful staff. All complimented by a great meal. If you’re a traveller looking for a place to stop near or at Willow Tree, highly recommend The Gate Cafe.

I was excited to see they offered gf options and the reviews were positive too, however, my experience wasn't great.I ordered the breakfast roll (with cheese and onion) and recieved the Bacon and egg + coffee deal (no cheese or onion. I only discovered when I was gone I had no cheese or onion and when I was passing back through I thought I'd stop in for another coffee and and just let them know. It wasn't a huge deal or anything, the burger was pretty good and the coffee was ok. Ibwas really polite when letting them know, but instead of an acknowledgement, and apology for the mix up, the owner (im assuming) was very short and quite rude. I was really taken aback actually...I went across the road to the little Cafe there for my coffee, the customer service was great and the coffee was better too!

Travelling through I just wanted a plain burger. But, I HAD to have fries with that. $16.40 thanks very much. No option except to pay for the fries and not receive them. Unbelievable in country NSW.

So glad we stopped here instead of maccas.The salad side dish was so fresh and so were the ones in the works burger. All in all, tasted of great quality.Also a park and playground next to it to stretch the kids out whilst enjoying a meal in peace.Bookmarked as a future stopover/waypoint when travelling between states.
