Oakfield Ranch Camel Rides
Went in early June and it is freezing! Dress like you’re going to the snow. Bring sunglasses- sand in your eyes are not fun, especially for the kids (best to bring swimming goggles). There’s plenty of parking all the way down to the beach, so drive down to the very end to the sand near where they sell the tickets.Go to the toilets before lining up. Could take more than an hr waiting.Try not to get in the camels faces, pat from their shoulders down.

We didn't have to wait long for a ride and the guy leading the camels was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was happy to take photos for everyone. I parked down in the lower level carpark in my 2wd and had no trouble with the sand. It was also close to the camels.

Nicest group of people. They took the time to chat to us and were happy to tell us all about the camels and the ranch. As well as the Camel rides at Birubi Beach they also participate in Cultural Camel Racing your all around the central east coast. Very interesting people and a great experience with the Camels. Highly worth a visit.

A very great and fun experience of camel riding. They really take good care of all the camels. Cant love the sunset camel riding tour more. It’s a private tour that you can ride on your own camel in the sand and along the beach. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience, the tour operators were polite, helpful and so informative. Answered so many of our questions during the walk. The camels themselves were sweet with apparently unique personalities. We ride on Jimmy and Goli, kind friendly creatures. Would highly recommend this tour. A MUST DO.

It’s just beautiful to ride a camel by the beach. It’s a different experience. However please be mindful of the time you visit. Mornings are better as there is no or shorter queues and it goes longer with passing time. The waiting time for the queue goes to 2 to 2.5 hoursSo plan carefully.

This was the most wonderful and memorable experience.The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy.We did the sunset ride, and it was most definitely worth the extra money.Would highly recommend
