Bit blunt but I probably called at the wrong time

This is a revision of an earlier review. I've dropped my four-star rating down to three. There's no doubt the two stylists in this salon know what they are doing. I was very happy with the cut and colour work they did. However, their pricing is astronomical. I've had this style done many times and appreciate that it takes a bit of work to bleach auburn hair. However, I have never paid $270 at a salon anywhere before. I thought $170 would have been reasonable but, despite the quality products they said they use and the time involved, that price left me reeling. They also don't offer pensioner discounts for colour work - only hair cuts. It's very disappointing as I will need to go elsewhere in future. Suggest newcomers to this salon ask for a quote beforehand, which I neglected to do.
