James was extremely friendly, engaging with my son and I equally, which was very respectful. James seemed very knowledgeable with regard to the fitting and recommendation of suit/sizing, he ensured we had all the additional requirements (belt/shirt) etc, he was honest, very easy to talk to, extremely helpful – and exceptionally funny.....an amazing sense of humour.James provided one of the most outstanding customer/retail experiences I have had in Launceston in a very long time.

I rang three weeks prior to a planned visit to this store. Spoke with James who was incredibly helpful and assured me that he had plenty of very large winter dressing gowns in stock. I explained that I was travelling up from the coast and my time was limited. On my arrival, James was the first person I spoke with and he instantly recalled our conversation and my name. He then went downstairs and collected some garments and brought them to me to make my selection .He demonstrated the benefits of one garment in particular - Aussie made, which I then purchased. Superb service which assures repeat visits. well done and thank you.

Terrible customer service. Maybe I'm use to larger city quality friendly customer service, but maybe because of less competition in Launceston Neil Pitt's can afford to not have either.All I came in for was to try on a couple of suits to see what colour and style I like for my upcoming wedding. The lady who served us was abrupt and rude about the size of my thighs. After letting me try on 3 suits rudely remarked that she was taking suits left right and center off the shelves (3 suits *eye roll*) and that was taking up too much time that could be spent on other customers (despite there literally being one other customer in the store).I left frustrated and went down the road to Routleys Menswear and had a completely opposite experience, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff members who went above and beyond to let me try on different suits and styles without any grumbling or rudeness. If you want good and friendly customer service, I'd recommend going to other places than Neil Pitts.

My husband needed a new suit and we had the best experience shopping at Neil Pitts as the staff were soooo helpful and very professional. I can totally recommend the store .

Great service and high-quality menswear

I walked in the store looking for a suit today. Tried three jackets with the help of the rep. None of them fitted my size. I have asked what seemed to be a normal question - what size is this!. I was shocked with the reply it is the store policy not tell customers the size

Was very happy with initial sale. Son asked to be and was FITTED, specifically said these will last for years, 2 weeks later the seams have split. Shop took zero responsibility, trousers are too small they said. Elderly gentleman was extremely rude. And condescending. Would expect better from a shop known for its quality. Kmart trousers last longer. Neil Pitts will say anything to make a sale. Disappointed in a company I used to hold in high regard. Avoid.Purchase under Tanya Geale or Adrian Johnson
