Wonder original art by Amanda Johnson and her daughter. We bought a lovely large painting of the Broken Hill landscape. Highly recommended for a visit for art and jewellery.

If you are interested in art on any level, don’t miss this small gallery in the main (Argent) street. The artwork has a 60’s pop art vibe crossed with broken hill icons. This leads to vibrant colours and striking images with a distinct local identity. A change from the usual outback art which typically depicts outback nature scenes, the artwork here focuses on the buildings and events in Broken Hill. If you can’t stretch to an original canvas, there’s smaller prints, postcards, and items such as painted aprons, vases and lazy susans.

I love the art Amanda creates, it's so uplifting. I'm new to town so not purchased before and wanted a picture as a gift but we are in lockdown. Amanda organised the perfect solution for me with contactless pickup, a gorgeous sunflower picture which made a special lady very happy. I asked the receiver where she was going to display her new picture, she described the spot in the house because then I can see it all the time". Highly recommended."
