Sunkids Boondall East

I do not recommend Sunkids to anyone. I had my son at one of their centres and while the reception staff and manager were lovely, the other staff there were so rude. They all seem like they’d rather be elsewhere than there. We had an incident where we reported my son’s hat missing and they were very confrontational and quick to blame us saying that we never packed the hat in the first place and no matter how many times we reassured them that we definitely did, they kept saying that we were wrong. Then when I came in on the Monday to talk to someone about it, no one even greeted or acknowledged us even after we did. The hat then turned up the next day and no one apologised about the way it was handled. They also don’t take sun safety as seriously as they should.When we then decided to take my son out of the centre, they did not even take the time to acknowledge or respond to the email. I definitely DO NOT recommend.

An incredible kindergarten, always clean and smelling nice and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ladies there are always so lovely and happy. They actually love and care about the children - not just look after them. My son's face lights up every single time we get there.My first son went to a lot of kindergartens and none of them compare to how amazing SunKids Boondall East is. Would give more stars if I could, could not recommend this centre enough!

The children are offered a great range of activities including extra curriular music and yoga. The playground is well shaded with a large tree, including a sprinkler for hot summer days. The staff are caring and communicate well with parents.

My 3 year old son was previously attending another Day Care Centre in Nundah and after we had moved over to Boondall in Sep 2019. We had enrolled him at Sunkids Boondall East, I must say that we made the best decision for him. The Centre Director, The Educators and the Chef are really a great team. They respond well to our questions and also give us a good run down of our Son's Day at the Centre.

It’s a good Center and staff is supportive and cooperative. Families appreciate the work which boost our energy.

We moved from Brisbane CBD to Boondall and was worried which childcare to choose for my 2 year old toddler.Selecting Sunkinds Boondall proved to the the best decision we made as my son is always happy and excited to meet his friends and teachers.He is growing and learning fast compare to other kids of his age which is really a great feeling.I would highly recommend Sunkids Boondall to all those parents who are in confusion of finalising childcare for their little one.

I couldn't be more happier with how responsible and trustworthy the Sunkids boondall east team have been. My daughter started out in their nursery and still going strong in the toddler program. My daughter gets plenty of dance, music and art activities throughout the week. When there has been the odd bump or scratch happen (as all kids get!), the team have contacted me immediately to let me know and what's been done to fix it, and not just 'find out' later at home. Also as it's a smaller daycare, it's easy to chat to the team about how my daughter is progressing, as well as getting to know the other kids and parents who go there too! Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend boondall sunkids east .Very supported to all the sunkids family's . They go above and beyond for all the children and including all the families as well ... My son attends Sunkinds Boondall East in the nursery and he is absolutely thriving.He has the biggest smile each morning when he sees the educators when I drop him off. I know he is so looked after and cared about by everyone in the centre and it makes us happy we chose to send him here.The kids are all kept busy with various activities and fun and they are more than happy to follow any routines that you may have for them.By all accounts, my son loves all the food they provide as he eats it all every day!We are very happy with Sunkids Boondall East and the absolutely beautiful director and staff there ❤️

Sadly the 5 star reviews are old. Prior to changing centre managers twice in the last year (we are on the third manager before even starting). Unfortunately the new centre manager is inexperienced and allowed a 1 to 6 ratio in the nursery for over 45 minutes today, when presented with the complaint she also handled this very poorly, avoiding eye contact and blamed others. Poor communication has also been a key factor in us leaving the centre, in conjunction with a 16% fee increase. It is a shame as Sun the nursery educator seemed nice but at the end of the day, the centre manager sets the tone for the centre and was a key concern for us.
