Always looking forward to going to my go-to cafe in Hamilton, with every time being an exceptional experience. The service is always friendly, the coffee is great and the pancakes are always my favourite. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a slightly different breakfast/brunch on the northside of the eastern suburbs!

Excellent food, unique menu. Could be my top Brisbane cafe breakfast pick.In terms of the setting, north facing, accessible yet a relatively quiet side street. Subtle ambient music - appreciated, very friendly mature staff - comforting, but not overly spacious. I’d probably book if I was planning on going with any number of people. A nice bench above the sidewalk but I’d feel conscious about the room I was talking up if I was there to study at a table inside. Two dishes I've had:Aprea con SobrebarrigaNutritionally, probably doesn’t need the eggs, the avocado and roasted sauce (chimichurri) are already two great, heavy creamy elements. In saying that poached eggs are my favourite, and tbh seeing them in the description was likely the deciding factor in my meal choice. The beef had a lovely tenderness as you’d expect but standout was the odd crispy end that added a great additional texture. There wasn’t an overwhelming flavour but there didn’t really need to be either as the roasted sauce, avocado and aprea all chipped in. Its hard to pick a stand out because the elements were actually so well balanced and complimented each other well; but!, if I had to pick one it would be the arepa, just for how surprisingly nice it actually was and the different texture bit brought to the meal.Petrichor's PataconThe crispy plantain was good, appreciably unique, at least to me, but probably twice as much as was necessary considering the volume of everything else on the plate. In saying that I wasn’t hard to get down and it didn’t feel like I was eating a plate of chips or anything. The freshness came from the super tender and moist chicken, avocado, sour cream and pickled jalapeños. A bit funny to eat with the size and texture of the plantain but civilised enough, the let down was just the ratio of these elements to the plantain.

Delicious and innovative food with friendly staff. A nice relaxed ambiance. Loved the arepas! The staff was kind enough to let use know that they weren't able to provide 3 pancakes but provided a discount on the meal as a result.

I always enjoy my dining experiences here. Every time that I visit the service is pleasant and welcoming and the meals are well presented and delicious. They cater well for vegetarians and my gluten free and dairy free diet. The lemon thyme drink is a must have, as is the chai tea. There is seating inside (they open up the sliding doors) snd outside under the umbrellas.

This place is amazing! Food is incredible, the Arepa and the chilli eggs were so good, full of flavour. Staff are all so lovely and welcoming and the food was super quick. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious Spanish inspired cafe. I had the tastiest brunch that I didn’t mind paying a bit more for as it was quality. The coffee was good too, and friendly service. The only negative things were the food took a long time (I wasn’t worried as I was kid free), and the toilet light was not working and no soap was provided. But the cafe is lovely- rustic and plants throughout.

I have been some what dubious about sharing this place in fear of having to line up for my breakfast. Whilst it is already busy and locals are passionate - it is somewhat still a hidden secret. Breakfast is their speciality - my favourite dish is the “Marranitas” it consists of crunchy, homemade croquettes stuffed with cheese and covered in pillow like scrambled eggs w Sautéed Spinach and a delicious chipotle sauce. Most of the components are home made and it is so refreshing to find a place that doesn’t over cook their eggs, serve sauce out of a jar and give you processed meat on a plate. Not to mention “ a little bit of spice” which I love but don’t fear if you don’t like spice there are plenty of other enticing meals. The only criticism I would have is that service could be improved greatly.

Was excited to try, had heard and read good things. Stopped for a simple brekkie on Saturday.....eggs on toast ....eggs didn't come as requested, toast was bread not toasted, added a side of mushrooms - hard, barely cooked end bits and stalks, came with onions (not requested and allergic to). Service was offhand. Overpriced for what you get.My friend had a salad which she said was nice though. Was a shame as I was looking forward to trying having heard good reviews. Sadly won't be back
