Balcony On Sixth Lodge

We spent Christmas night at this lovely accommodation, the rooms are large and charming, with refurbished ensuite’s. great value for money. We have stayed here before, a great stopover when traveling from Melbourne to the Ayer Peninsula. Happy to stay again.

Other motels I'd called would not accommodate me at 9:30pm for the same night. Said they had availability but their books were closed for the night. Balcony on sixth Lodge got me set up and accommodated my children and late arrival. I was expecting a hovel with such a great price and to my astonishment, I discovered the room is actually really lovely! Bathroom looks brand new. High ceilings. Comfortable beds. We rested well. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful quaint historic building.and the balcony was perfect spot to sit and relax in the fresh air.The room was bigger than expected and the refurbished bathroom with an awesome double shower was lovely. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean.The rooms were clean and kitchenette well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar etc.Its only a 2 minute walk to Woolworths and shopping centre and the Murray Bridge pub is just down the road.We would definitely stay again !

Wonderful period furniture and decor. Very comfortable room and excellent verandah. Initial entry can be a challenge, however once in, this self service accommodation was of a bygone comfortable age

Clean, comfortable, A/C, beautiful inside and outside on the balcony, great shared kitchen with appliances and I feel safe staying here when travelling.

A lovely old building, nicely refurbished. We arrived late in the evening and couldn't access our room - called Jess and she was very helpful and friendly. The room was excellent and the communal area with fridge and coffee maker a nice addition. I highly recommend Balcony on Sixth.

I stayed in the Queen Suite and it was absolutely lovely. From the moment I opened the door I was filled with an atmosphere of relaxing comfort with lovely touches of luxury and pride taken in the presentation of every detail right down to how the chocolates were arranged for the affordable mini bar. The double shower was simply amaz-balls!! Jess was lovely and easy to talk to. The balcony was a lovely space to enjoy my dinner. The bed was perfect and the pillows were gorgeously comfy. Clean and roomy with mod cons, and the air con was quiet and efficient. I stayed on a Monday night and the nearby pub may be a noise issue on a weekend, but when I stayed it was enjoyably quiet. Would love to stay there again without a doubt!

My wife & I have stayed here a few times. The rooms are 5 star and at a good rate. Wait until you check out the double shower. Some have balcony's so you can see the world go by with a Red Wine. .The owners are down to earth, honest, friendly.. We love this place so much we have booked 3 rooms for the whole family for my 60th in Jan 2023 ..

I loved my stay here in the upper deck superior suite. I had direct access to the balcony overlooking the town hall and the main street of Murray Bridge. The room was bigger than expected and had a modern bathroom. The new managers are fantastic to deal with. I highly recommend this room!
