Great beach for swimming and leisure. Plenty of area for picnics with shaded areas for sitting back and enjoying the riverside.

Some of the best beaches I,ve seen on the Murray, sand is piled up along many spots, super fine & very clean, only just opened gates, in Vic, tracks could do with a bit of love & care, need grader driver that knows how to grade tracks so water can run off into drains, holes & bumps along tracks but very nice when you get there. The water can,t run off tracks so just keeps making it worse,! But the beaches are magnificent!

Kennedy Park Thompsons Beach
It was perfect weather when we were here a few days ago. The beach and water was beautiful. We stayed here for a few hours, and used our pop up beach tent so the kids could play in the water while we relaxed and absorbed the great views and atmosphere.

Not seeing it at its best with a large amount under flood water.It has a cafe which was operating, a play ground which was under water, restrooms were open.

Almost dusk, The sounds of bird life and the native ducks. The wonderful colours of the sky, The tall Majestic trees and the peace and sound of the flowing Murray river. Kiosk Cafe, Public amenities, Pinic tables, paddle steamer rides. Close to the cobram bridge which was erect in 1902.

Kennedy Park Thompsons Beach
This would be one of the nicest parks and sandbar beaches I have seen on the Murray River. Very clean and well-maintained facilities. Lots of shade and lawns. Excellent boat ramp and jetty too.
