I've been going to H&R Block for years and always found their staff to be helpful, thorough and prompt in their service.This year I had the pleasure of Pavlina as my Tax Consultant. She spent the time to explain everything to me clearly to help me understand tax requirements and how things were calculated. Really pleased with the service she provided and I will definitely be going back to her next year. Thanks Pavlina!

I think it is a privilege to be a manager. Today I booked a appointment at the Dee Why branch where I whitnessed the new assistant being talked to with utter disrespect. The short, frantic, under her breath manner made me feel quite un easy. The poor assistant (whom I do not know) was talking to her and the boss lady ignores her completely. Was she going to act like this with me? So I left and went to the Narrabeen branch because I have actually always had good experience’s at H&R block but that manager lady looked like she hated her staff. Hated her job and was completely unable to hide it in any way...WARNING ⚠️ stay away from DeeWhy H&R branch.

I went in today to book an appointment and the old lady who eventually got off her seat to serve me was extremely rude and made me feel unwelcome she made me feel like I was putting her out by asking for an appointment., I have had a good experience in the previous 2 years at this branch but this experience made me walk out, I will take my business elsewhere and will not recommend to others. Rude staff.

Very happy with Pavlina from H&R Block inDee Why who looked after my tax this year.She did a professional job in a friendly manner for a fraction of the cost that I’ve been paying my full service accountant over the years....

Eva has been the best accountant I’ve worked with in a very long time. She easily worked through the complications of my investment property sale due to divorce & provided me options on claimable amounts I didn’t know about. My previous accountant made the sale of my property seem so complicated that I put of doing my tax to the last minute. Eva’s approach made me realise I didn’t need too. Highly recommend!

Called to get a quote on prices. Spoke to rude and condescending person named Eva" who was unable to provide the information request and responded instead with sarcasm. I have chosen to proceed with an alternative provider with more polite and professional customer service."

These guys always get me a great tax return without fuss or bother

I had a pretty bad experience with them. Granted, my situation is not easy : i lived in canada, then came back in Australia to fill up my taxes. i waited several weeks before hearing back from them (i had to send multiple followup emails), and although i paid in full for my tax return, the numbers kept changing..I'm actually not confident in their ability to handle my tax return. They may be alright if your situation is absolutely simple. Anything past that, forget it. Worth mentioning too their customer service is terrible : the person handling my taxes was also the receptionist, and i lodged a complaint may 26, no feedback so far..It's been a month now...

They fitted me in at short notice last year and were very helpful with a simple tax return. I'm going back again this year.
