This place was said to a great spot for a picnic, when we got there is was nothing short of disgusting... looks like it had been used as a burnout patch and was muddy and disgusting and lots litter everywhere

Peaceful park, just a few k's west of Gympie. Nice fresh water stream circles the park. Good place to have a quiet picnic although take your own picnic blanket and chairs as nothing is provided. Certainly worth a look for something a bit different.
