Melbourne Pathology Mt Waverley

The pathologist who did my blood test was super slow in action. It took her 15 min just typing in system and another 5 min trying to get enough blood from my arm. While it took forever she even blamed the fasting. When she finished she was not sure if the volume has met the minimum requirement and had to check. My arm hurt so much after the test. Is she even a qualified pathologist? I will never go there again.

Great service from the collectors here. To those complaining you can check on the back of the form which collection centres do which tests. As for waiting have you any idea the variety of tests that are done at these centres not just simple blood tests at all.

Having vowed to never return to the Glen Waverley branch due to excessive bruising I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and competence of the phlebotomist at the Mt Waverley branch. No pain, easy extraction, a tiny dot of blood and most improtantly NO BRUISING. Excellent technique and a friendly manner.

I was waiting for 1 hour for blood test and they sent my result to my GP. I asked them to give me a copy of the result and they refused and said it is not legally!!! I made a complaint to Result department and they immediately sent my result through email. They only want to force you make an appointment again and make money. Legally clients have right to get a copy of result but they refused to!!Terrible service

Nurse Maria is very patient, professional and kind, and I'm really impressed by her skill of taking blood from my tiny vein!

If you have 3 hours to waste this the place to be. I have never encountered such inefficiency in a pathology before. I gave up and went home. Maybe the staff were having a long lunch.

What an absolute disgrace...2 workers here .. 2 rooms and so so slow .So slack and lazy.. holiday camp .. jam job .. I had 3 people before me and took an hour .. one of the workers with white short hair who didn't call anyone in was walkong aroind rooms and facility like shr owned the place ..Do not I repeat .. do not come here ..She took my forms and snapped at me what do you want me to do with this, it's a bill .. and I showed her the form where it says for all tests required.. lucky your on the ball she said ... no apology or anything ..Stuffing around .. so un organised ..Australia turning to s..t because of companies and people like this .. I have a life stop wasting my time ...

The wait is ridiculous. Over an hour just for a simple blood test. The staff need to be more efficient or organise to have two rooms so they can get through more people. Melbourne pathology is the worst out of anywhere I have ever been. Never again if I have a choice.

Worst place ever. Tried speaking to receptionist only to be told to sit down and wait. Finally got into pathology and was told we don't do that here" rude

I have found on numerous occasions the service from the two Pathology Nurses Karen and Maria is exceptional. I have had to have several complicated tests and these ladies could not have been more professional. The Pathology area and the Medical centre staff at the desk are totally different entities. A couple of the reception staff are quite rude and as soon as you ask them about pathology they are less than helpful. One of the nicer receptionists was on when I went a couple of days ago and she was helpful.I would highly recommend this Melbourne Pathology as the two pathology nurses are extremely efficient.
