Unique experience indeed with the cheese train. The list of cheese on offer will be on the board so it's pretty easy to read and decide the different cheese you're after. Nice and spacious seating arrangements too. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Splatters Cheese Bar
This could not be more of an ingenious concept, so much so that I drove to Geelong with a newborn to enjoy it and desperately wish they would set up shop in Melbourne. Easy ordering via QR code or simply pluck what strikes your fancy from the train itself. We thoroughly enjoyed it all and they regularly rotate the cheese on offer so there will always be something new to delight the tastebuds. 11/10 recommend

Very disappointing. This restaurant was recommended to me so I went well out of my way to try. The menu boasts an amazing selection but over 40 minutes I saw the same cheeses over and over. It seemed many had sat for a while or been refrigerated as they had discoloured. The accompaniments seldom married up to the menu and so I found the experience very sad. The hot food however was really well made, temperate and delicious.

Really cool and unique place. If you love cheese definitely the place for you. Live music is often on. Great atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff too!

Such a brilliant place! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. We had the pleasure of being served by Seb, who was absolutely lovely! The ability to taste so many different cheeses with perfect pairings, not to mention the baked Camembert, was a great experience. I can not recommend Splatters Cheese Bar enough!

So much fun! Get your fill of fabulous cheeses, each paired with an accompaniment. Wash down with local beers, wines and cider. The ladies who own/run this are awesome and the live music was the icing on the cake. Really enjoyable day, will definitely be back!

Finally got across to visit Splatters! Very very glad we did. The pricing is incredibly reasonable for starters.Staff were friendly, but let's get to the cheese! We had about 12 dishes and I have to say every pairing was delicious! I liked knowing where each cheese was from and having info at hand is great. I only disliked one pairing but it was more a personal taste thing. The cheese rocky road was a cool idea too!My only critique would be it would be great to have a salad/vegetable plate on rotation, after a while it got a bit rich on cheese and something to break it up in between would have been amazing! One cheese plate does have a couple of slices of cucumber and there is a small Greek salad but I'd have picked up a couple of cucumber cuts and some cold veggies to help break up the cheese for sure!Ill absolutely be back!

I'm not even kidding when I say I drove all the way from Adelaide to Geelong for this.I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could! Visited on a very quiet afternoon for lunch and we were pretty much the only customers in there. Was taken care of by Sam who was very willing to recommend different cheeses based on what I liked and was also open to listening to what I didn't. Cheese no. 12 is definitely highly recommended!

I was a bit hesitant about trying this as I thought it was just a gimmick but Omg the cheese was impeccable, and the pairings were incredible. So much love and care has gone into choosing these cheeses and I couldn’t recommend it enough especially if you’re a cheese fanatic! So yummy!

Booked a table in the yard and ordered 2 different platters for the 3 of us. Delicious charcuterie and wonderful cheeses and bits of fruit with bread, pita and crackers. Staff were very friendly. Great range of drinks on the menu to wash it down. Only negative was the stools weren’t comfortable
