DO NOT ENTER HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. They charged me $438.00 for soil and green waste and then the lady at the office said it’s considered as general waste and charge me by weight which is $110.00 for every 300 kg I had 1.3 tons. What a joke I’ll be calling consumer affairs.

Great experience. The girls were super friendly and helpful and wasn’t expensive. Went to another tip first because the reviews turned me off, but Altona only takes trucks. Don’t let the reviews turn you off this tip it’s affordable and very friendly bunch of girls. Thank you Cleanaway.

Not one to leave reviews. I’ve been frustrated the last few times I have come here and it is closed. Before going I’ve checked website to make sure it is open. Drive all the way there and it’s shut. Staff are normally pretty friendly but when I last went with a load of cardboard ( only cardboard) as I make sure I dispose properly, a Lady seen the smallest of smallest bit of packing foam and told me she would charge me for the disposal. In shock I told her how rude she was.

Have been a lot of the time with the company I worked for to dump our trucks I found they ladies on the front desk to be very nice , and helpful yes it’s a rubbish tip birds , and lot of dust but is nice place with nice staff

Quoted $200 a tonne to dump construction timber over the phone, Arrived and suddenly its $320 a tonne...Wont go here again when theres much more honest and competitive locations nearby

Easy to dispose of rubbish, if you are taking polystyrene you should bag it before hand & you will have to transfer to another bag it cost me $45 which was fine considering the damned material must be hard to dispose of industrially. Anyway i had a good experience with the staff here, the woman working was very helpful and answered all my questions and directed me when I obviously didn't read the signs properly LOL we had a laugh! Thanks again!

Got quoted $110 and staff member charged $300 after emptying, without being notified at the gateAbsolutely disgustedGo to Wollert $150 or Brunswick $140 to unload, save yourself the grief

Want to charge $80 minimum for less than a boot (PS they advertise a boot load at $30) full of 3mm panels just because I have a van....I’m not disposing of the car for christ sake...poor service and were careless about the issue..
