My friend and I used a Scoopon deal to get a haircut, wash, colour, and treatment.The ladies in the salon were very friendly and nice to chat with; I don't want to suggest otherwise.However, the hygiene standards are subpar. I witnessed one stylist go from using a comb in my hair to handing it to another stylist to use on another customer without any kind of cleaning/sterilisation. Also, when that stylist was done with the other customer, she rinsed her hands in water and then picked a towel out of the dirty towel hamper, dried her hands, and then came back to working on my hair.While I'm very happy with the colour job on my hair, the cut is meant to be a straight angle, and it's apparent to me now that the lines simply aren't straight, and are a little rough as well.The worst part of the visit is what another stylist did to my friend's hair. It was meant to be a short style, but from the outset was cut too short. She also had highlights done all over, but in a section at the back, there are two large blocks of colour that aren't blended in at all. Finally, in the same area at the back, one layer is cut so short that it appears to be a large bald patch. In hindsight, we realise she knew what she'd done to some degree, as she pointed to the messed up area and said something along the lines of 'considering it a feature'. At the time, we didn't realise what she meant, and didn't see what she was pointing out, so we left.I don't know if we simply got inexperienced stylists or ones who were having an off day, but we're both pretty horrified by the whole experience and won't be going back. My friend has since received a refund for her Scoopon.

Phenomenal service, very welcoming to someone that hasn’t been to a hairdresser since pre-pandemic, such a warm and inviting environment and price-wise was amazing, especially for a broke student. Will definitely be making this my regular

I come here very frequently for hair cuts and never walk out dissatisfied. Excellent hairdressers with a wealth of experience. (Please do not get my first name confused with the serial 1-starer Michael below)

Going to a hairdresser you put your trust in them and expect to come out looking and feeling good. I left traumatised by the experience with Unified, with it uneven and only one side of my hair cut. I was embarrassed to be seen by my colleagues and had to get my hair re-cut to make it right. I will never go there again.

No fuss, really reasonable prices and excellent colours and cuts. They never try and up-sell, and don't cut corners. This hasn't changed in the 2 years I've had my hair done there

Definitely one of the best haircut experiences. Haley was very professional and displayed her expertise. I'm going back for my next one.

Ive been going to unified for years. The team are warm and attentive to all my requests. With them my hair has transformed from snapping to only a couple inches long, to long and heathy blonde that I love.

Maybe I expected too much after seeing all the review about this place, but basically I feel like they don't have have that much knowledge on men haircut in general (their skill is good tho), cause they give me a haircut that show off most of my minus point of my hair, which is a bit confusing to me, since all the place I cut before tell me about my minus points, and avoid cutting like UHB do.Not happy overrall, and not coming back.

Haley is amazing and genuinely listens and cares about her client’s happiness with the cut and colour. I’ve been getting cuts here for a while, and am now thrilled with my first round of foils from here as well. We started with brutal lockdown split ends and regrowth, and ended looking better than my pre pandemic self. She is a miracle worker. Definitely recommend!

Excellent hairdressers and very experienced. I come here frequently and leave very happy. The staff are always friendly and also do an amazing blow wave. Would highly recommend.
