About the Business
The Shell Club | The Shell Club was originally formed in 1952 by a handful of workers at the Shell refinery. A tin shed that served as a clubhouse was erected on the same site that the club occupies today.

I was really surprised by the food here. We've now gone a few times here recently and everything has had really great flavour. Onion rings are some of the best I've had. I wish there was a bit of a more interesting selection which sometimes they have with the specials but they're not all the time. It's also quite well priced compared to other pubs.Also lining up to pay for your meals is a bit awkward as when there's a line of people it goes between the tables of others while they're eating, so it feels a bit awkward for everyone.

We were with another couple, on a Sunday night. We booked a table, just to be on the safe side.Two had the roast of the day (pork), one had a bbq parmy with chips and salad, and one had nasi goring: all were very large, tasty meals.Service was quick, and cheerful.Drinks from the bar were very reasonably priced.During the week several nights have great specials e.g. Wednesday night is steak night for $22.Senior meals are available Monday to Friday.Daily specials are very popular, usually a choice of 3 or 4.We will definitely be back on a Wednesday night, to try the steaks, which looked delicious .

Food and service was good. Having limited access to the pool tables meant they were in good condition.Sad to see much like everywhere else too many people wasting their money at the pokies.

Lovely place to celebrate a birthday experienced staff. Food was quite alot very good. They do a takeaway container for you. Very enjoyable

Meals are usually really good. Friday night was busy. Everyone’s food on the table. Looked good except for mine. I ordered the pumpkin salad. As there isn’t very much more for vegetarians. Last time I order it back in January was great. So I orders it again. For $19.90 I would have expected a full bowl of salad. Last night I got a handful of rocket. Maybe 4 half cherry tomatoes and some pumpkin and feta. I could actually see the bottom of the bowl. Terrible for that price. Probably won’t go back any time soon.

Went here with my family for the first time the shell club was very classy to me very clean also service was excellent such nice friendly staff. The food was beautiful good size plates. And very good standards with the food the presentation was great and the food tasted as good as it looked. Very happy with this place would definitely come back my daughter and husband liked there food also great how the kids get free ice cream etc my daughter had the biggest small on her face. But not that she finished it. Lol thank you for such a warm welcome difently would recommend here.. this is why l give 5 stars.

I ordered the steak sandwich the menu said porterhouse, the meal arrived l have never seen such a small piece of meat, overcooked and I'm sure it wasn't porterhouse very thin , the meal was overwhelmed with lettuce small piece of tomato a bit of caramelized onion and that was it, what a waste of $22
