Driftwood on the Beach

Pool is like swamp water .room smells like public toilet kitchen appliances are from the 60s .2 star at best .dont bother .

Loved this place..perfect location..great round pool which we loved making whirlpools in..it was very windy at the time and rubbish had overflowed from the one wheely bin in the bbq area leaving rubbush literally everywhere..we just grabbed an empty bin and did an emu parade..i expect most guests wouldnt have done that and just been appalled at The mess.. Anyway.. It was windy.. Ran out of loo paper and couldn't find anymore.. I think there was only one roll for a family of 5 for 3 days... Would have brought coffee pods if we knew there was that facility but it would be extra nice if a few were provided..all in all we loved our stay.. Thanks

Appartment very clean and comfortable. Location is too far from restaurants etc need a car to stay there.Had trouble being let into our appartment as there is no manager on site being managed by a real estate.

Photo's are deceiving!!! We are VERY DISAPPOINTED with this apartment. Very poor communication with the Real-Estate agent until I actually called her on the day to ask how to get into our room, where she text me details after. Walked into our apartment to find my feet were black from the dirty tiled floors which had NOT been cleaned, so I text the agent to get a cleaner to come vacuum/mop the whole apartment. Air-conditioner has NOT been cleaned for a loooong time as the filter is also thick with dirt/dust.Pool/barbecue area is a disgrace, pool is green/algae, barbecue has NOT been cleaned, table/chairs just strewn around.Gardens need ALOT of TLC. Such a shame as the units are in a great position right near the beach yet not looked after.For $800 for 5 nights stay I expected better! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE. And! What happened to good'ol fashion service.We manage a C'park which is old but very well maintained clean/tidy and we always have our guest's feel welcome. No texting with us!So glad we cancelled this unit for our 2 week stay at Xmas, we're taking our caravan up and staying in the caravan park in Yeppoon.

Actual accommodation very basic and a little tired but was clean and tidy. Older style appartments of probably 6-8 units. The location is right on the beach and is amazing!!!

Easy access to the beach. Units were clean. Quiet spot.

Very disappointing to say the least. Door lock was broken and no one contactable to fixed it, in fact they told us it was OK because the screen door locked, which was actually broken too. There was no action taken in the 7 days we were there. The apartments were unclean, air-conditioner's mouldy, cutlery drawers caked with muck, the benches and tables had not been wiped down, floors unclean, the pool was not clean or usable and the bins were overflowing and putrid for half our stay. What was even more disappointing was there was no one to contact to fix these issues. When we finally contacted someone towards the end of our week stay were where told this was all acceptable and the reason was it was holiday season and it had been busy. The communication has continued to be very poor while we have been settling our account as we refused to pay the full amount as we were unable to used the facilities provided. Emails don't get read. We had 3 apartments in the first week of Jan 2022. Beautiful location but very poor service.

Great location. Well appointed. But, Very dusty lampshades. Just wonder what eles was left off the to clean list?Old bathroom otherwise it's a good place to stay.
