Found this amazing place on our recent trip down from Sydney to Melbourne along the east coast. We stayed at Marlo one night and on the way out asked google for good coffee near me and was rewarded with the best coffee of the trip and an egg and bacon sour dough toasted Sambo with relish.... Went back for a second Sambo and coffee, it was that good! Seriously, give this place a go and support the locals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today. Amazing, homely meals, lentil soup to die for and such a tasteful falafel salad, with thoughtful combination of flavours, The homemade cakes are worth stopping over for and must be accompanied by their delicious, made-with-love coffee.

What a great little place! Extensive range of tackle gear with a disposal store too with anything you could need on your camping trip. They also have lovely locally made gifts reasonably priced. The coffee was excellent but the macadamia white chocolate biscuits were AMAZING. Lovingly homemade just like Nanna makes; not mass produced. Definitely worth a stop whilst in Marlo.

Staff were a bit stressed as were busyish when we went in, but they could have quickly acknowledged us, rather than ignore us. However it did improve. Apple cake was delicious, but long blacks poor - no crema must have flown off as I walked out the door" the waitress said!"

Brilliant local cafe. The coffee was excellent. And the home made sausage roll and fruit toast were absolutely delicious. This is a must visit place if you are nearby.

We stopped in for lunch and got the Marlo toasted sandwich and it was delicious. Best combination of flavours, highly recommended.The cafe has wonderful assortment of local made t-shirts, earrings, soap etc and the Bait and Tackle section has everything you need to go fishing, snorkelling etc

Came to Marlo for gas and stopped at Bait Cafe for a quick coffee afterwards. Our flat white, double espresso, carrot cupcake, and piece of vegan cake were excellent!
