A beautiful sanctuary dedicated to caring for animals and educating people to make change. Contact in advance if you want to visit - if you are local around Launceston you can volunteer a few hours a week to help care for the animals. Big Ears is home to donkeys, ponies, a horse, cows, pigs, rabbits, birds, turkeys, chickens, roosters, ducks, geese, goats, sheep, cats, dogs and a few crazy humans :)Set in beautiful scenery just 15 minutes from Launceston.

These people are very special and obviously love those animals and I am sure my son's goat will have a great life. I also love the ethos of the place even tho I am not quite a vegetarian. They are ahead of the times and I wish them well with their education of our children.
