Recently I put in a claim with RACV for damage made to my car by two unknown, gutless individuals. RACV recommended Motorserve, which was conveniently close to my home.Motorserve are situated in Thistlethwaite St [but have garages in other states too], in an unassuming white and blue garage/building.The professional and pleasant staff follow strict COVID-19 guidelines once you enter their office.One of the office staff, a lovely lady, checked my car with me, drew lines around the damage, discussed the processes and possible time frames, then ordered a free Silver Top Taxi, to take me to the car hire company. I was also given a return voucher for the same taxi company. A streamlined and stress free process.I was impressed by the quality of the repairs on my car and how it looked brand new again. Thank you to the panel beaters who worked their magic on my car. There is a lifetime warranty on their repairs.I highly recommend Motorserve as a reliable company to choose when in need of car repairs and panel beating. Thank you.

While I was happy with my car’s repair and the staff were friendly, the communication from the store was non-existent. I went here through RACV insurance. I had my car assessed and they told me they were unable to repair the car at that time, and would call me when they could. Following the assessment, I never received a call to tell me my car was ready to be repaired. I spent literally hours on hold over the next week trying to get through with very little success. Only once was my call picked up, and I could tell they had completely forgotten about my claim. They took 2 weeks to fix my car which I thought was a very long time, but they assured me it was only due to the Easter break. I then did not receive any updates on my car, the repairs they were conducting or when it would be ready to be picked up. I spent way too much time on hold just trying to find out when my car would be ready to be picked up. After 16 DAYS, I rung RACV insurance who contacted Motorserve for me. They claimed my car would be ready for the following day and that they have been trying to contact me. This was obviously upsetting as I had not been contacted by Motorserve once throughout the entire claim, and very fishy that my car was suddenly repaired once RACV contacted them on my behalf. I would call to give them this feedback instead of leaving a poor review, but they won’t pick up the phone.

I am so grateful to the team at Motorserve Port Melbourne. My car was repaired in 5 days and all in time for us to move interstate. The repair team did an amazing job fixing the back bumper of the car and Marie on administration was incredibly helpful, kind and understanding at getting my car in the repair hub as soon as possible.Thank-you so much,Kate & Michael xx ❤️

1. Work done under RACV insurance policy that included lifetime warranty on workmanship. New replacement rear bumper panel was not aligned properly and also had jutting ragged edges on the underside2. Vehicle was taken back to have faults remedied, only to be told that the owner was being ‘pedantic’; at fault for not seeing the poor workmanship immediately after the repairs; told to return with photographic “evidence’ that other similar vehicles don’t have the same jutting ragged edges before remedial work was eventually approved3. Status as a RACV Gold member was mocked, and then told that workers in the workshop agreed with this particular employee’s opinion that the RACV member was a troublesome clientWhen simple tasks are completed with glaring faults, and when staff felt emboldened to gaslight, gossip, badmouth, belittle, intimidate and bully clients, then one may well suggest that this is a problem, not just with it's quality control system, but also with the culture within the organisation, and therefore, a management problem.4. Marie and her colleague at Reception were excellent. Courteous, empathetic and very professional in person, and over the phone. Unfortunately, their value to this business is being totally undermined by their colleagues.
