Dirty Hands Art Space

I love this place! It's a pottery studio, art studio, shop, and they even have yoga classes in the morning. I did the beginners wheel course and can't recommend it enough. I made a few pieces, this mug was my favorite. Now, I go every now and then to their casual classes and I love that once you learn how to use the wheel you can go and practice on your own.

A beautiful experience…and so much fun! Em is a fabulous teacher- Warm, funny and knowledgeable.The studio in the heart of buzzing Burleigh, is a gorgeous creative space. We were surrounded by stunning artworks while we sipped organic wine, learned to wheel throw, laughed a lot and got our hands dirty. The most productive and fun night out we’ve had in ages. We’re totally hooked!

I recently had the most incredible time at Dirty Hands, a hidden gem of a pottery studio in Burleigh Heads! Tucked away down the arcade off James Street, it feels like stumbling upon a secret world of creativity. Their BYO sip and spin pottery classes are an absolute blast, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and artistic expression. Just imagine sipping your favorite drink while getting your hands dirty, quite literally, in a mound of clay. It's an experience unlike any other.The studio itself exudes a laid-back and cozy vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The instructors are super friendly and approachable, making even the most inexperienced potters feel right at home. They patiently guide you through the process, sharing their expertise and encouraging you every step of the way. What truly sets Dirty Hands apart is the freedom they give you to express yourself. There are no rigid rules or templates to follow; instead, they inspire you to let your creativity flow and create something truly unique. It's an incredibly liberating feeling!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a paint and sip hosted by Chad, and I must say it was a fun and great night. His expertise and warm personality made the night enjoyable, I highly recommend if your looking for a fun night out or something to do with friends and family book in with chad !!

Had the best time here at the pottery class here. First time doing it and learnt a lot my first day all the teachers and staff are so friendly and attentive! Will be back! Thanks Dirty Hands Art Space!

I had a wonderful time at the clay free hand workshop! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As a first-timer, I was thrilled to create something with my own hands, and I'm grateful for their guidance. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with friends and family.

I enjoyed their amazing 4 weeks course with an incredible team. The studio is beautiful and puts a lot of effort into bringing art and creativity into Burleigh’s community. It’s just lovely. I definitely recommend it, I can’t even wait to do the 5 week course now. <3

I recently had the extraordinary opportunity to participate in an art competition that opened doors to an awesome experience: painting a mural with my talented friend Ju Ferreira. From start to finish, the Dirty Hands team showed a passion to fostering creativity, connecting with the local community, and supporting artists like me.The team at Dirty Hands is an absolute gem (Steve, Iago and Liz) . They welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of their artistic family from the moment I stepped through their doors.
