Friendly staff, even had a laugh. Smooth and easy hire for work with no hassles. Got the vehicle I needed at a reasonable price. Car was clean with minimal damage.10/10 experience. Would recommend.

Hired a ute from Avis at Rocklea. Be aware that there is important info not shared if you book online - mainly that there is a deposit required - $400!!! in my case. Also the level of insurance that comes with the vehicle is very minimal so basic cover added a further $30. There's a big difference between the $70 online quote & the actual out-of-pocket initial cost of $500! The deposit is repaid in 7-10 days, if all goes without incident. That seemed slack to me. Next day should be do-able. Still, the people at Rocklea were very helpful & easy to deal with. The vehicle itself - a diesel Isuzu - was brand new. The only annoying feature was the speed limit alarm. Just as an aside, I originally booked online with Budget who phoned on the morning of collection to say their online bookings hadn't gone thru so they had no vehicle available! Bit pointless so steer clear of Budget online until they fix this issue.

The staff were less than friendly. There was an issue with my booking that wasn't their fault or mine (booked by a 3rd party), and I was made to feel like it was my fault. Communication was poor. I felt like it was all too hard and they couldn't be bothered dealing with me. I wouldn't recommend.

My son had to pick up a hire car after his was stolen. In and sorted (with an upgrade) in about 15 minutes. Great service from these guys.

Good customer services and I was renting a MG best car I have rented so far

Through no fault of my own, my lovely new car was smashed up on the front. The person who hit my car is with Allianz Insurance. Thankfully, Allianz provided a loan car whilst my car was being repaired. It was explained to me when I picked up the hire vehicle from Avis that they would hold $100.00 from my savings account, to cover the cost of tolls etc. In the event of no charges, my $100.00 would be released back to my bank within a few days. Well it is now 2 weeks and I still don't have my money returned to me. I have had numerous distressing phone calls with Karen to no avail. I rang Karen again this morning to be advised that she will send another email to somebody in HQ!!!. She gave me the phone number for customer service. A 1800 number. The call center is in the Philippines. The customer service person was struggling to speak with me in English. This is simply not good enough. Appalling customer service. I will never use Avis again and discourage others from using them.

I had a loan car for rental and my first impression of the Front office was rude as she stated I was late to pick up my car rental.When I returned the car after a few days, they sent me a letter stating that I had to pay $103.92 for topping up the fuel. I was mortified as I had topped the fuel twice! two days prior and on the day I returned.I have to deal with their recoveries group now for six months,and I am appalled at this service!! You can be the judge to this!

Horrible experence.The male Staff was rude and did not admit to his mistake. Didn't explaint the extra properly (might be intended to get more sales ), charged extra $100 for something I did not purchased. Retal agreement did not show the extra charges, no receipt provided. Tried to contact the customer care all they did was repeating the same thing that the charge was valid..Useless customer care + rude & arrogant in-store staff = Avoid at all costs.Looking for rental? Go somewhere else.
