United Martial Arts & Fitness Academy (UMA Willetton)

United Martial Arts and Fitness Academy has taught me many useful self defence skills. I have become stronger, not just in terms of my martial art ability but in terms of myself as a person. I got more confident than before and I really appreciated it. I am keen to grow as a martial artist and continue for as long as I can.

A great club that is family friendly and develops the students both physically and mentally. My son has attended for 4 years and has developed a real love for Taekwondo, competing at a number of championships including the nationals in Bendigo. He has also developed good friendships and is encouraged to help and support others.

Not a very good experience with cancellation process though,they need 4 weeks inform not like other organisations just need 2 weeks,but all the instructors are absolutely very professional and responsible.

My daughter is very enthusiastic about Taekwondo, we found the masters and instructors here set a high standard that needs to be achieved in order to make the grade, which encouraged my daughter to practice at home often, a very similar system to which I grew up with in Korea

I have been training at UMA for 3 years now and I have loved every moment of it. I started at UMA when I was a first Dan black belt, and I have been pushed consistently by the amazing team of masters and instructors to try my best and to be persistent. Getting a new belt or Dan takes time and requires a lot of effort but the team at UMA is very supportive and have always helped me to improve. During my time at UMA I have gotten fitter and have learnt how to be more confident and be a good leader along with being more self-disciplined and the necessary skills to defend myself. I enjoy being a member at UMA, especially knowing that I have the amazing staff at UMA behind me at all times.

I have been training at UMA for almost a year now and I have learnt so much and become so much fitter and stronger in such a short amount of time thanks to the great instructors. This is a very positive and friendly environment to learn martial arts in and I look forward to every class. I reccomend this place to anyone wanting to learn martial arts.

I would like to give 10 stars rating for this UMA & fitness centre, if I can.My son's been very happy to train with fantastic masters in Willetton. We're very impressed with well organised & structured programs, lots of fun for kids in a bright atmosphere. I can see all the kids really enjoy the class and build up their confidence through the training.Nice and safe facilities, too.They also have an annual championship event at the end of year and my son participated in it last week, it was an amazing experience. Kids could learn how to compete in a healthy way and be motivated while seeing how other kids did their best. It was a great opportunity to have a sense of belonging & achievement. Highly recommend you this brilliant UMA & fitness centre.

A well organized Taekwando and Fitness centre. Kids and adults here are trained by dedicated, experience and kind coaches/instructors. Their lessons are clear and well structured. They sell anything Taekwando related stuffs too.

I’ve been training in United Martial Arts and Fitness Academy for almost 6 years, the experience is fabulous. It’s not only just about getting fitter and able to defend myself from danger, but learning how to be confident, independent and highly disciplined.Throughout the journey, all the masters and instructors gave me lots of love and support. They always encourage the students to do their best, however, never pushes us too hard so no harm or injury happens.It’s such an amazing place and I will always be a member of the UMA team.
