Adytum

I've been twice now and had great experiences both times. The decor is beautiful, and the rooms are nice and dark, and quiet. Amelie gave a super relaxing facial and massage and was very gentle. I've also had a pedicure which was really great value and the chair was so comfy. The included tea and snack is such a nice touch. I will definitely be back!

A trip to Adytum was exactly what was needed after a long lockdown with a baby! I treated myself to the Journey to Vitality on opening day and could not fault my experience. From the minute I walked in the door, I was so impressed with the beautiful space and warm nature of all the staff. The treatment itself was bliss and I felt completely comfortable and at ease the whole time, which is so important and not often the case. I think I actually floated out the front door and cant wait to book in again! Thank you for bringing some much needed wellness and quality to Canberra!

Adytum Bathhouse - 20 December 2022 (1000-1100)Having had a wonderfully relaxing experience in the Adytum Bathhouse on a previous occasion earlier in the year I was very much looking forward to this booking, however, this time I left feeling angry, ignored, and very un-relaxed after communicating a negative experience to staff.My main complaint was that (unbeknownst to me) at some stage, probably around 30/40minutes into my 60 minutes booking, the sauna turned off. Unfortunately by the time I’d realised and turned it back on myself - noting the controls to the sauna are covered by a hand written note asking customers not to touch them and stating that the sauna has already been set by staff to the proper operating temperature - it had already lost too much heat and was unable to get back up to operating temperature for the remainder of my booking.When communicating this issue to staff after my booking had concluded they noted that the timer must have been set incorrectly and said I should have just turned it back on - which (after realising it was no longer on) I eventually did.I was very disappointed that Adytum was unable to do anything more for me than a half halfhearted apology, and instead seemed to be attempting to put the onus of ensuring the sauna was operating onto me - the paying customer who took them, and their note on the sauna controls, at their word as the facilitators of this experience.In addition, and this is something I did not voice to staff at the time as I was prepaid to accept, the bath was still running when my booking started and it took a good 10/15 minutes of my 60 minute booking for the bath to fill to a point where it was usable.Having previously been glowing about my experiences at Adytum, and referring multiple friends and family, I will now not be going back - in large part due to the way my concerns were so lightly dismissed by staff as opposed to the actual concerns themselves.

Absolutely loved and enjoy the time spent at the spa. Very good service and good products as well. I purchased the rejuvenation mask and a hydration cream, tried them out last night and woke up with such a nice glowing skin. I really recommend this place. Good tea as well.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Adytum for an hour-long relaxation massage under the wonderful and skilful hands of masseuse Cody. I had an outstanding experience and have finally found the massage I’ve been searching for. It was the perfect blend of pleasure and slight pain which is exactly what I wanted and Cody was able to focus on some trouble areas which we discussed before he started. I pretty sure I fell asleep at one stage. They offer a complimentary herbal tea and I opted for the fruit platter. Seriously it was a sublime massage, and I will definitely make this my new go wellness centre.

I had an amazing experience at my time at Adytum. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Bathhouse and the Journey to Harmony package was incredible by Kim. I highly recommend these packages as you will leave as relaxed as I did.

I visited Adytum for a Journey treatment. Sarah was my therapist, and the massage was amazing. It was my first facial experience, and I felt safe, cared for and connected to my therapist during the session. It was actually amazing and I can't wait to return. The space is minimal, beautiful and smells amazing. Definitely worth it for a special gift to yourself.

I had the most opulent spa journey yesterday. Every little detail was well thought out. The therapist was amazing - beautiful care given to each part of the treatment. A complete rejuvenation for all sense - from the beautifully designed space, the scent of the “Air” candle as I walked into the room, the music and meditation, the massage and facial that left me feeling more relaxed than I thought possible and then finished off with a delicious cup of tea and treat from the elixir bar. Would highly recommend you treat yourself or someone else to an Adytum experience. Have already booked back in.

If you are looking for relaxation, searching for Zen or needing to find your centre, Adytum is your destination. From the wonderful therapists and treatments, the specialist services and offerings, to the exquisitely calming decor and sound immersion, it is sheer heaven. The Cafe is a perfect inclusion and the store has everything you need to take a little wellness on your way with you. I can't rate Adytum highly enough.

My partner and I booked the Couples Bathhouse and Massage Retreat and it was pure bliss!I had been to Adytum for a bathhouse booking before so I knew it would be a great experience and this time was even better.The bathhouse was beautiful; bathtub super comfortable and huge, shower and cold pail relaxing, and sauna temperature was just right. Comfy robes, towels and slippers.We then had our couples massage which was done by Renee and Jyoti and they were exceptional. Asking us if the room temperature and massage pressure was ok, being considerate to areas we wanted focus on and areas we wanted to avoid. Such a relaxing experience!We then decided to have our refreshments afterwards and it was the perfect way to decompress and come back to earth. Yummy tea and snacks and a great sunny corner to perch up in.All in all our experience was incredible, such a beautiful space to spend a few hours in and shed our stresses, and the friendliness of the staff was amazing. Have been and will continue to highly recommend this place. Thank you Adytum team!
