Perfectly adequate coffee stand. I was surprised there was one here so far from the CBD. Seemed busy / popular. Unfortunately, while the coffee tasted good, it wasn't as hot as I'd like it.

1st time eating at shingle inn. Was ready to order at the payment desk but handed the menu and had to wait a little. Ordered the classic omelette which comes with sourdough and rocket. The omelette was nice but the sourdough tough and they had already spread some butter for me. The rocket was tired and wilted, no dressing, it was dying in my plate.Had a soy macha latte extra hot in a takeaway cup as I always do. It was lukewarm. I asked if they had made it extra hot, and reassured it was made to my order. I didnt enjoy it. But it cost $7 for a regular size so made the best of it, but my heart sank.Overall, 1st and last time for me. I wouldnt recommend.

Service here was top-notch. The gentleman serving me was really thoughtful.Unfortunately I was disappointed by the food. I think the pricing was a bit expensive for my thoughts. I did order an open melt & asked them to swap out the avocado for onion & some dressing. It tasted OK, but visually, it was less than appealing.Over the years I have enjoyed visits to various shingle inns but unfortunately not the best experience in my opinion.
