Wonderful Fish & Chips

Too variable in quality. Previously food had been good, however last meal was inedible. Grilled fish was off, potato cakes burnt, fish bites burnt. I understand a mistake occasionally, however when all parts of an order are bad then it's time to find elsewhere.

Excellent local family run fish shop. Good portions of fish and chips. They recommended the whiting as best fish for fried and silver dory for grilled and after 4 years can’t fault it. Always a free potato cake. Have seen a few poor reviews here which is very surprising as have never had a problem with the food or service.

This place has really stepped up. Went there few years ago and wrote them off but due to proximity to home, had to try again. Now they are my local fav. Flake is decent size and not too battery and owners are great.

Got flake, potato cakes and a hamburger from here just now on Uber Eats! Delicious food, beautifully fresh and hot! Batter is crunchy and clean and burger is great! They even gave me an extra potato cake! What a great fish & chip place. Will definitely order again!

Local fish chip for a few years now. Price quality speed all good. Our normal order 1 Hamburger with the lot, 1 piece grilled fish & min chips. We half it and can never finish off the chips, $15 to feed 2 people cant go wrong. Plus they now have a young Aussie bloke on the phones. Wish they were open sun mon though

Just had a couple of burgers and chips. What a delight!!! The rolls so fresh, the egg just right, and the right amount of salad. The seafood sticks were slightly crunchy on the outside and very tasty. 10/10 for us.

The shop is clean and the staff are welcoming. I had burger with the lot and it was epic. Awesome meat pattie well spiced and perfectly cooked. Melts while eating without being so soft it falls apart. Burger had egg, salad, cheese and yummy crunchy bacon (everything is better with bacon). Bun was toasted well. The burger is a two hander and holds together well while eating. Great taste. I had some potato cakes which were good but commercial ones. No extras. There should always be extras. Price for burger cakes and drink was good.

I love old school fish and chip shops. Fantastic hamburgers and brilliant potato cakes, which I think are the litmus test for a good fish and chip shop. Haven't had the fish yet, the burgers are just too good. Fantastic combo deals too, especially at lunch time.

Me and my husband just started order food from Wonderful Fish and Chips shop. First time we ordered Fish pack. The fish was so nice and crispy. The fish size is so good. I could not finish. The chips were a lot. The second time I ordered the fish burger, it was the best burger and so huge I had to share with my husband. The third day I order Lamb and beef, and the owner told me that the beef burger and Lamb are all from COSTCO. He bought the beef and minced it and turned into the burger patties, the lamb is the good quality meat. We have been eating there 4 days in a row. We will probably never eat any McDonald and Hungry Jack. It is because we are eating real meat from COSTCO. Don't need to deal with impolite customer service from the fast train store. The owner and his wife are very nice people. Good and Honest Owner. Will definitely support them during the pandemic from now on. I have already highly recommended them to all my family and friends who live near by.
