I am a little biased. I work here, but hear me out....RSL lifeCare is a living, breathing piece of our nation's history. LifeCare has been housing veterans since 1911 on Bare Island and today we continue that tradition whilst housing over 55's on a historic site which dates back to 1939. Veterans and non Veterans are welcome to become residents in this beautiful facility which is a credit to it's staff and residents.We also have the Homes for Heroes program. Australia's first Homeless Veteran program. Come and visit the Gallipoli building or the museum which showcases items which have predominantly been donated by residents past and present.

The chapel directions are very poor. The chapel is directly behind main building. If you are attending a service allow extra extra time to locate it and find parking

My mother lives in this village so we visit regularly. It is excellent with great facilities & care. We would recommend checking it out for yourselves. Definitely worth it.

Yes, we have friends residing in this 'life care' complex. Respect and dignity are the two first qualities that are part of the setting and the seved at a pace which is matched with a pleasant, quitely aware and cheerful staff.

From the first phone call to the last phone call, and all through the care provided, absolutely excellent. Could not be faulted. Cannot thank the staff in admin and nursing enough. One of Sydney's excellent secrets. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Its a sad reality that as a nation we are getting old. this place is reminder of that. its just sad that the remedy to aged care is to put our nations greatest in one big basket. i can understand the need but i feel that we could incentivize home care and not be so capitalist. this facilty however is in a great location with a lot of services on premise. it is well kept by the landscaping team and the nurses do a good job running the place. parking is ample and a shuttle service is available. i like going here at lunch time as the place comes to life until the residents retire to their rooms.

This is a special little secret! Quiet little bar with what must be the cheapest drinks in Sydney, set over looking Narrabeen lugga, good sized library, giant chess set, full size snooker table, cheap eats, Chesterfield lounges, tons of military memorabilia from the past century and an awesome fish tank. Not a place to get loose, but a fabulous place to kick off proceedings! What a gem.

Gallipoli Building, the central building of the Narrabeen RSL LifeCare complex, which houses the administration office, the Lone Pine restaurant and lookout, Dugout bistro/coffee shop, a small library, theatre, pool room and many other excellent facilities.

We ate at the dugout. Its a simple menu but absolutely great for the price. I have also previously gone to the museum here and not only does it have artefacts it also usually comes with a story from one of the residents.
