Pinnacle Lookout
We went for sunrise at 6 in the morning and it was worth it! Glorious views of Orange with moon behind your back and the sun rising in the front. Gorgeous colours. Highly recommend

Pinnacle Lookout
A popular walk with a great view. Room in the car park for a caravan, if it’s not full. If it is full you may struggle.The 10-15 minute walk up the stairs is reasonably hard, but the steps makes it do-able for most levels of fitness and abilities.The walk is definitely worth it, with an almost 360 degree view of the Towac Valley and surrounding area.

Best views of Orange (much better than Mt Canobolas)! Quite a few stairs but only a short, moderate level walk, approx 20min return. Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio

A absolutely stunning view in a serene environment. Great views of the surrounding region and Mount Canobolas. Just moderate climb up a well maintained path with steps to the summit. Offers spectacular views of Orange and Mount Canobolas and the surrounding regions. After a recent snow fall when it settles is well worth the winter visit if access is still open.

Beautiful, peaceful view. Worth climbing stairs. Stairs are well formed and easy to climb up/down. It can be windy at the top so be prepare for it.

Probably the best view of Orange, but that's just about it. 30 minutes return track from the parking, which is a steep climb up hills with about 250 steps.

Well worth the journey. It is only a short drive from town and the hike up is quite quick (say 7 minutes up and 8 down for us) if there aren't too many people ahead or behind you. Sunset here is much better than the much further mount canobolas, and it is less crowded... The car park isn't that big, but there is an overfill car park a very short distance away. The air is quite thin up here, so try to take in a lot of breaths on the way up and back down.
