Superb tourist attraction, great for kids to become more aware of a time where there were no devices, or even e look electricity.Staff were excellent, very friendly.Do yourself a favour and take the 2 day option, the paddle boat, and the Heartbeatnight show.You won't be disappointed

The volunteers that give a real experience to the visitor when at the Pioneer Settlement, are worth their weight in gold ! From Gail in the general store, Phil who will drive you around in the Elliot Ness era car, or Robert with his Clydesdale horse, Bob, or even the boys in the Good Times band who will soon have you tapping your feet, they are all so willing to make your experience memorable. The exhibits are amazing so it was hard to decide what to see first. Aussie history is all around. Go see it people !

Pioneer Settlement & Heartbeat Of The Murray Laser Spectacular
We did this over 2 days and it was fantastic. First day looked around the settlement, which was all interesting. Second day we did the PYAP paddle boat cruise and the light show that night. It is all very informative, interactive and kids would enjoy themselves also. Well worth looking into it all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. A few hours roaming the settlement then a trip on the Pyap. Followed by Heartbeat The next night. The only thing I would to suggest is that once a year they clean the sealed exhibits. I don't think that has been done since they were set up. Otherwise very enjoyable.

A great day. I recommend allowing a full day. You don't need to, but if you want to have a good look at everything and go on the paddle steamer then I would definitely pencil in for a full day. I also recommend coming back for the night laser/water show.

A great way to spend a few relaxing hours, wandering around the pioneer settlement. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced entry and interesting displays. It's in a great location.
