Went there today for the first time since new ownership. Ordered a chicken schnitzel burger, chips & calamari.When we opened the burger we thought they had put beetroot on as it was so dark. It was actually the chicken, so burnt & dry it was inedible. Took it back & was offered another, it was just as bad! Chip had no salt/chicken salt, calamari was pretty good. We definitely will not go back. It used to be the best take away by far with old owners.

Unfortunately with the owner change over we were unable to order everything we would usually get. No pluto pups or battered savs as an alternative and couldn't buy chicken nuggets by themselves either only available in a meal. Very disappointing for people that don't eat fish. We got battered Hoki for those of us that eat fish and it was cooked well and tasted great wouldn't change anything there. The chips were nice but the potato scollops were very under cooked. They looked good on the outside but were raw potato on the inside.

Since the new owners have come everything has changed. I have gone to get ice cream from the shop yesterday and today and they have not had any ice cream. I am very disappointed because they have got rid of the lollies. They have w quite a few of there good customers who used come around twice or more a day in the Christmas and new years holiday.

Since this place changed hands it has gone down hill.We've been a regular at North Haven takeaway for the last 6yrs being locals but the new owners have changed the menu and greatly increased its prices. Unfortunately will no longer buy from here.So disappointing.They've completely forgotten about the locals .

Have been coming to north haven for as long as i can remember. New owners have totally monstered the cafe. Never have any stock of anything, always out of ice-cream, shut the ice-cream part down at 5pm now and you pay $20 for an average caesar wrap. Nobody can afford to keep coming back especially for average food. Can’t even get a pluto-pup or chicko roll anymore. Miss the old corner shop

In the afternoon they provide a range of tasty options for lunch or dinner - I tried both, a chicken schnitzel & salad roll for lunch, a fisherman's basket for dinner, and both were good if a little pricey (paying for freshly prepared good food). Better than average.

Best coffee I have had in a long while.Definitely 9.5 out of 10 for the coffee(I have never given a 10 out of 10)I am always on the hunt for good coffee and I definitely found it here. I am visiting from interstate and came back 3 times and brought my friends with me.
