Ling Ling Thai Dubbo

We celebrated the birthday of one of our friends with dinner here. The food was delicious!Had the Kana Pork with Coconut Rice, was filled with fresh greens and a delicious flavoured sauce that soaked up well with the rice.They were accomodating with us bringing our own birthday cake and even made the birthday girl a special dish to take home!10/10 recommend dining here or even grabbing some takeaway to enjoy at home!

The food and service was great. I loved the stir fry vegetables.

We tried the menus under ‘Ling Ling Thai Special’ and ‘Thai Street Food’ over 2 consecutive days. Our favourites were the Pineapple fried rice and Pad Kra Praow Gai. Love their awesome plating and the variety of options. Definitely going to go back to try other dishes!

Was one of the first to visit LingLing. Jay has certainly done quite a job to bring authentic high quality cuisine to Dubbo. If you miss Westbury Thai, this is the place to come. 5 star thai is back.

Ling Ling Thai has been open 11 days as of this review - and while there are a couple new-restaurant teething problems, it's got a LOT of promise. Most of the issues we had were easily chalked up to the fact that they were incredibly short-staffed, and also very, very new to the game - the owner, his daughter, and a single chef in the back were manning the restaurant during a busy evening service. We were there for a birthday party, and there were 8 of us - most of the other tables in the place were also full, and everyone was flat out trying to manage drink orders, food orders, etc.The food was delicious and they could easily cater to our dietary needs (some of us were gluten free, some were lactose free, vegetarian, etc.) The service was also fabulous - easily the standout here. I arrived early and chatted to the owner behind the bar for a bit before things really got busy, and both he and his daughter were friendly, easy-going, and wanted everyone to have a good time. They're Dubbo locals, and they clearly have big dreams for Dubbo regional cuisine.My only complaints are that when my sticky rice came out, the presentation was lacking (it was inside a plastic bag) and it was overcooked - dry and hard and chewy - and when a friend's dish came out (much later than everyone else's) they had forgotten her rice and fried egg. When pointed out, though, they were apologetic and offered to bring it out or comp the meal. They dealt with it like professionals, and nobody felt shorted at the end of the night.Also - not sure if this was because of the birthday party, or because of the missing food above, but they brought the table desserts that were phenomenal. I mean, really, really damn delicious - some kind of cheesecake, a custard, and ice cream, and enough for everyone to utterly glut themselves on. It was a great note to finish on.All in all, I'm definitely going back - though I might give them a little time to settle in before I do, and see if I can't bump that 4 stars up to a 5.

Worst service, lies all round!Ordered takeaway via menulog last night, 40mins wait time on the app. We turned up when the app said it was ready (705pm)and was told to come back in 10 mins as they were having trouble with menulog. Sent my partner back while I went to put our baby to bed. He didn't have the food until 740pm, almost double the wait time that appeared on the app despite the thumbs up of receiving our order immediately. I had called the restaurant at 735pm and was offered a $10 refund via menulog, and lied to again that our food was ready and had been handed over to my partner. This partial refund has still not appeared in my account.

Service wasn’t great from the start. I was left for 20 mins and then had to ask to be served, they “forgot to come over”. I ordered one drink, was bought and almost charged for two (fixed at counter when I questioned it). My dinner was bought out less than 5 mins after ordering, so your food isn’t fresh at all, and this was highlighted by the dry beef and cold potatoes in my Massaman. After the other good reviews I checked before I went this was a disappointment.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Incredible menu and really friendly staff. Our favourite dishes were the Thai spicy noodle soup, fish cakes and green Thai curry with coconut rice. Will definitely be back on our next trip through Dubbo!

Our group of ladies went out on 15/6 Thursday night. We all enjoyed our beautiful meals. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friend and polite. Everyone commented on how delicious the nails were. I can’t wait to go back for my next meal.
