If you are a Gluten free person or a salad person don't bother. For the others go ahead, you'll like it.The dishes presented well but the salads had nothing in them apart from lots of green, raw onions and red capsicums (all of the salads have those 3 ingredients and then the meat and sauce just changes). Really not worth it.My partner had a chicken parmigiani that was great and a strawberry tart, also good.The gluten free chocolate cake was stale and dry, definitely too old to be sold.As for the staff, the Indian looking guy was very welcoming and nice, the older women behind the counter...not so much.

This is a beautifully situated suburban cafe right in the heart of Wellington point. It has a good selection of menu items with very helpful and attentive wait staff and a fantastic array of baked goods and good coffee! I think if you were to go anywhere in Wellington point this would be the place. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and very quick service. But by far the highlight meal was the Mediterranean pizza. It was absolutely delicious and would go back simply just to have that pizza again.

Breakfast was amazing. We had the Breakfast Bruschetta and Eggs Benny Croissant with coffee. Food was delicious and fresh and the perfect way to start a Saturday. Staff were very friendly and we will definitely be back!

Had excellent coffee and cake with family and friends Bill and Lyn Upton here today. Great location and reasonable prices. Plenty more to offer on the menu as well if would prefer a more substantial meal. Shame Pete and Rhonda from First National could not make it. Always next time i say. Thank you for your service.

Nice Cafe to relax and enjoy a good and well deserved coffee. I have tried breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Never have I been disappointed, service-friendly and fast, meals- tasty and comes to the table still hot, salad-fresh and clean, cakes-good and lots of choices, price-fair, environmental-clean and you have the ocean smell in the air. A bonus to visiting Tanja, the street feels makes you feel like you are on an oversea holiday. Both day and night have a different feel to it, well worth coming at different times of the day. A romantic place for a date night, family friendly for breakfast or lunch. For the feel, I would highly recommend coming at night.

Brought two coffees here Monday (Labour Day) - over $14 for both. Asked for extra shots and both coffees tasted like boiled milk. Opening the lids and they were white! So disappointing. Unfortunately we couldn’t return them as we had already taken them home. Mine ended up in the bin. Disappointing.

Had a mother's day breakfast at Tanja's. Have been before and it's always been a pleasant atmosphere, staff are genuinely friendly and nice. We did find it a little annoying that we were constantly interrupted by the staff bringing meals to our table that were for other table's.The meals themselves were reasonable, although the couple of orders that were ham and cheese croissants were unfortunately still frozen inside. The coffee's are always nice.Will be back, just hope the croissants aren't frozen.
