Each and every time I purchase food for my family, the staff are polite, food is always Cooked to order, and is nice crispy and crunchy. We've not once had bones in our fish. And our mince burger is so huge, it takes me back to the good old burgers from when we were kids.Thank you for bringing back such great memories and selling such great food.

I Purchased crumb chicken and salad about 5 months ago and it was outstanding. I Finally got back here again and decided to have the crumb chicken and salad once again…wow, outstanding…..fresh and soooo enjoyable. I definitely won’t be waiting another 5 months to enjoy Jackson’s wonderful food. Well done everyone…5 Stars from me….BRILLIANT.

Save your money!Terrible takeaway shop across the board.Terrible quality fish & chips. The crumbing or whatever they use is gritty & hard. Half the sweet potato scallops were burnt & shrivelled, the others soggy (clearly old)!? Chips were ok but you get maybe half a cup for over $10!The shop was dirty with broken furniture sitting around.The staff are rude & unhappy. They either don't speak at all (or smile) or are too busy eating right in front of you at the front counter to serve anyone until they're ready.? Terrible place!Owner, before you reply and fob us off as not the customer for us". Yes

This place is definitely worth the trip . Best fish and chips that we have had in Mackay. Such a generous serve and cooked to perfection . If you haven't tried them , do yourself a favour and try them , I doubt you will be disappointed.

Thank you for catering gluten free and Coeliac safe. My battered flake and chips meal was amazing. Generous serve, crispy batter, I only wish I had room to try one of your delicious GF desserts.

Had the best gluten free fish and chips we have ever tasted! Even the non-gluten free family said it was really good! We were travelling through and only wish you were our local fish and chips shop from Brisbane! Thanks for making accommodations for Coeliac Disease so easy and tasty! Highly recommend 5 stars.

Had this a few times and it's my partner's favourite. The food is very good in flavour and value. Had fish and chips all over Mackay and the fish is the best around. The chips are very nice too. The only thing I haven't loved is the prawn cutlets. They're super fresh and tasty but the crumb hides the tail often and that means I've chomped on it a few times lol. Having so many gluten free options is amazing. Keen to try the dessert sometime as there is a wide selection and it looks delish!
