Salisbury Hotel
Made a booking for my daughters birthday in the Bistro, was seated in front bar. That was OK as was less quiet. However staff really didn't seem to know what they were doing. We were told fresh bread rolls would come out. They came out after everyone had eaten. Our garlic bread we had to remind 3 times again came out after all had nearly eaten their meals.Was waiting to speak to someone to organise cake, lady seem to ignore me and was then asked if I was OK and she walked off another lady served me. I asked for cake young girl was friendly other seemed rattled, too busy and just couldn't deal with it was asking abruptly if I needed a knife to cut the cake if I needed plated etc then dumped a whole heap of plates in front of me to get as many as I needed. 10mins had passed I had to go and ask again for the cake. And still no knife to cut cake.First time here for a meal and sorry to say we won't be back.

My family and I have visited your hotel on many occasions over the years and have always enjoyed both the meals, the environment and the service provided by your staff. Please keep up the good work. One of the better hotels around the Salisbury area.

I don't have a photo to share of our meals because they were so good we just demolished them. The pepper gravy was so tasty, not just gravy with peppercorns. The schnitzels were beautiful. The salad bar was stocked well and the food was amazing. The staff were amazing and made it such an enjoyable experience

Salisbury Hotel
We decided to go to Salisbury Hotel for dinner to celebrate Mum's Birthday. The staff were friendly, my beef schnitzel was great, the salt & pepper squid looked great, but Mum's roast pork was substandard. The restaurant has great potential and hope they find the right Sous Chef.

Food is pretty great, price point is spot on with the snitty board. Salad & veg bar is back! Seafood salad and pasta salad are favourites. Drinks are cheap, service is good. Food came out very fast. The place has been updated, looks amazing!! Great option for a cheap night out with the family.

Great service, good value for meals. Only 1 complaint the sun coming through in the bistro area window while eating if you are tabled in the middle of the room. Quite annoying to see anything. Other than that definitely will go back. The salad and vegetable bar very nice.

We went there for dinner last night & was absolutely disgusted with what was going on there.There was a big table next to us that after they left, the staff proceeded to pack the tables & chairs up,very noisily,while we were eating.We had to ASK for bread rolls to come out.Waited at the bar several times to get a drink.Then once we were finished the staff proceeded to wheel out noisy trolleys to empty the salad & vegie bars.We were asked to fix up our bill if we didn't want anymore drinks.The 2 men behind the bar didn't know how to do the entertainment voucher when we pd.Then as soon as we were off our seats to leave,they started to move the tables around.We felt like we were being pushed out.I'm not sure what time the back area closes but we were NOT happy with how we were treated,especially after spending over $250 there.On a positive note the food wasn't bad,however we also look at the service when we go out somewhere.Not sure we'll return.
