Madison Capital Executive Apartments

Firstly we found the room itself neat, clean and tidy, beds well made and clean. Check in was fine, quick, efficient and prompt. BUT, they were the only positives.Car park : not enough spaces for the number of guests, and spaces tiny and cramped. Anything smaller than a Mini don't bother.TV : atrocious, could only get ABC or SBS, none of the commercial channels at all. I know ABC are desperate for viewers but to only lock it in as the only option, not cool.No Netflix, No Youtube, No Prime, nothing worked.Front desk girl had no idea how to fix it or who to call.WIFI : Could not get on at all, given a password and sign in but no instructions on where to find it, or how to get on.There was no book in the room, as you find in most hotels/motels with details of the hotel, facilities, check in/out, local restaurants, attractions, how to access WIFI, use the TV.No bin in the bathroom.

My partner and Kids stayed here over the weekend. The apartment was clearly dirty and my kids have woken up with bites on their legs. The parking was terrible. the person working on the desk had their electric vehicle TESLA etc... plugged into the wall which you had to drive over the charging cord. I have forwarded on pictures to Work Health & Safety Australia as this is a safety issue making your customers drive over 240v. WILL NOT STAY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

It’s a very old building especially the reception - felt lioe it was a hostel or a backpacker hotel. Location wise, it’s alright as it’s right in front of the tram stop.In the daylight at the main lobby, it looks great: however, when it gets dark, it just really feels creepy! Not a pot of lights in the whole building especially the hallways.I stayed here for 5 nights for a business trip. Room was okay but not comfortable when it comes to safety. The knob and latch are kinda dodgy to be honest. No toiletries provided as well so had to go to the nearest convenience store to get it when it’s freezing as I checked in late. If you’re not picky, this hotel would do. Otherwise, not fully recommended.

Rooms are spacious, with fridge and other amenities for preparing simple food. Toilet was supplied with bath soap, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, tissue paper and towels. Door locks are secure with magnetic key. Soft lights in the hallway.This review would have received a five star but we got to our room with leftovers from previous occupant in the fridge and lots of dust under the bed. The duvet was also yellowish and has seen better days.The next day, we requested for our room to be vacuumed specially under the bed; and it was done. Bin was also emptied and towels were replaced.I would come back again, and would probably get in touch with them (they reply very quickly) to request for advance vacuuming as kids have allergic rhinitis. Front desk were very friendly and helpful.Thanks to all for our great experience.

Partner and I stayed here over the Christmas/New Years period, was very fairly priced, clean & comfortable. Great location as it's close to lots of places to eat! Only complaint would be the limited access to parking, once the car park was full there was not many other options available.

Woke up at 7am on Saturday to no hot water. No answer on reception. Have to wait until 8 to talk to someone. Will be at least 30 mins before someone gets here, and I need to be out at my first appointment by 9. No shower for me. Ask Reception to get a Manager to call me so I can talk to them (about some kind of compensation for the horrible service for BASIC stuff a Formula 1 box hotel can get right). They tell me no managers work on the weekend, they won’t reach out to get one to call me. They told me to “send an email and it’ll get actioned on Monday”.There are so many things wrong with this place and situation, unpacking them all i’d be here all day.Suffice to say, I should have put more weight in the fact that there are more 1 Star reviews of this place as there are 5 Star ones.UPDATE: Happened again on day two. This time, 8:30 AM and there’s nobody on reception to deal with it. Pathetic.

Reasonable sized rooms, comfortable beds and all around 2ks from Canberra CBD which is easy to walk too across flat terrain. Light rail goes pass the front door. Plenty of a variety of restaurants to get a decent feed. The unit contains a small kitchen where you can cook basic meals

This one was bad. We got your our room to find the toilet didn’t work: just didn’t work at all so we had to get a bucket to flush. Our friend who was staying got locked out of his bathroom straight away because the lock caught. To add insult to injury, when we came home we discovered we had bite marks synonymous with bed bugs. At $180 a night, this sort of thing is just ridiculous. Stay away.

Where do I even start. Filthy room and BEDBUGS....I received a phone call saying they had tried to take money out of my account BEFORE we even got there even though I stated that I would be paying at the location. The receptionist was rather rude on arrival.The room looked like it had been tidied but not cleaned, the hot plate came up with an error so couldn't be used which is a safety risk which shouldn't be around your customers and 2 of the 4 towels were filthy with what looked like make-up on the white towels. THEN to top if off my son woke up with bedbug bites all up his legs. NOT HAPPY WILL NOT BE BACK
