Loafer Bread Organic Bakery.

Great coffee, my egg and lettuce baguette was perfect, dined in and overheard a number of customers that make Loafer Bread their go to (especially for certain treats). I brought home with me a couple of different danish’s to try. Loafer Bread may be small yet it pulls a big punch and certainly deserves its ratings. Great that it supports other local/organic businesses in the area. Ps sorry l started on my baguette then realised l wanted to leave a review.

This little Fitzroy North bakery has super friendly staff and an amazing selection of savoury and sweet pastries. My friend and I tried the orange and poppyseed scroll and a potato danish. Both were excellent. Try getting here before 11 am to avoid the queues.

Delicious crispy almond croissant for the best value in Melbourne!Loafer Bread was this week’s agenda on my list of finding the best croissants in Melbourne.For only $6.50, with staff who kindly warmed up the pastries, I highly recommend trying it out! Compared to the other almond croissants in the game, this one’s got a hefty amount of almonds which adds a heap of nutty flavour but I’m not complaining! Butteriness is an understatement! It’s more on the crispier side than it is flaky, and just a little bit over baked at that time :(The frangipane filling inside was definitely the star of the show here - good amount of spices with a nice mellow tone of rum, soft consistency. Personally didn’t blow my mind and I would prefer it less sweeter but if it was in my area, 100% would be grabbing this on the regular!Food: 4/5Value: 5/5Ambience: 4/5Service: 5/5

A very busy little bakery. There are 3 tables inside to sit and another 3 outside. All with 2 seats so not suitible for large groups planning on eating in. Great coffee and delicious almond croissants. All of the food looked delicious. I will be back.

Ridiculous, they don’t do take away coffee cups. How arrogant and self important to think a paper cup makes a difference to climate change. AI is going to make everything better. You guys are like the people nimbys who kept burning candles because they were afraid of electricity. Stop virtue signalling it’s out of control and useless.

This tiny little shop in North Fitzroy produces some of the most flavorsome foods you are ever likely to eat.I tried the light rye sourdough and an apple pastry and the amount of flavor, texture and attention to detail is fantastic.I haven't tried their coffee yet but it must be equal to what I just ate.Bring your own cup if you want coffee take away too, they dont supply those plastic lined paper cups and a good thing too.Highly recommend.

I loved everything I bought. Pastry with potato is so good, I would say my favourite (I do love potatoes and dill, that's probably why) :). Loved their temporary semlor's" that are sold every year
