First Time walking through the Lightscape in Melbourne last night on the opening night. It was amazing and mesmerizing experience. The setting is so beautiful and truly unique way to spending a night walk in the garden. Must try activity this winter.

Spectacular light show, and great food (esp the pizza). A bit hard to find parking on the weekend, you may need to park further and do a bit of walking. Watch out for the no parking signs, we saw a row of car got parking tickets… !!!

The Lightscape Royal Botanic Gardens event in Melbourne in 2023 was really really dull and lacking. The scenes of trees and lighting were not executed to their full potential, resulting in a lack of attraction. It paled in comparison to the event in 2022 and only worsened as it progressed. The overall experience was uninteresting, failing to justify the ticket price. It left me and my boyfriend feeling disappointed and regretful, with no desire to recommend it to friends. In fact, I might not even consider attending this event in the future.

Last year it was magnificent. This year - nice. Less is more? No. Less is less. Great sound tracks. Beautiful trees, well lit. Loved the mushroom hillside and the gorgeous floating dandelion seeds were outstanding. The fairy light cathedral was there again and popular for selfies. I charged my camera battery in preparation. Didn't feel the need to pull out my camera. I guess it was hard to top last year's spectacular!""

Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of drink opportunities and a variety of food too. Lights were great however last year 2022 was much better.

Left disappointed, very overpriced for what was offered. Wyndham had a more impressive display earlier this year and that was free.

A beautiful show though at ~44pp it wasn’t as grand as I’d thought it would be. Food trucks were available, and in the Terrace cafe area you could make your own smores which was quite fun.

Absolutely extraordinary! A delight for the eyes and other senses, as well as the music was beautiful and fitting to the themed areas. We came away SO pleased to have had this experience after driving up especially from regional Victoria.
