Nice place to spend a couple of hours.Plenty of birds and pleasant down by the creek. When we were there they were building more toilets.

No phone or internet, so it was very peaceful. Almost no water in the creek when we were there. Magnificent stand of very old redgum trees. Good toilets and very spacious area to camp.

Worlds End Gorge (Burra Creek)
A great place to camp and enjoy. A day visit doesn't really give enough time to explore. We walked around all three camp areas and found some great camps in all three . There are some beautiful crystal clear swimming holes . It would be wonderful to see the place when the creek was flowing. A very dry place atm . Unfortunately the toilets have been mistreated and could do with some TLC.

The Worlds End Gorge is great, all the 20 metres of the gorge entrance that is accessible to the public. If you want to see the gorge, bad luck it is all private property. What a waste of petrol. There are camp sites along Burra Creek, it is a nice spot with old gum trees. Facilities are drop toilets and no running water. Some structures were just being erected when we visited.

Great little camp ground, this is a perfect spot to get away for the weekend. Came here on a lads weekend to get away and had a great time. There is 2 thunderbox dunnies at either end of the campground, is a basic camp-site and only a few set pits with the option to setup where you can fit and create your own fire.Counting close to 30 set ups over the weekend it wasn't crowded and seems to be the spot to pull in for an overnighter or 2.No phone coverage.but with the Great walks through the creek and gorge.. Why sit on your phone?Only downside is not the basic facilities, but those that think it's OK to run a generator at 8pm-10:30pm. Will definitely be back.

Well used free camp area. Bit dusty.Lots of spots under huge gums. Heaps of pink cockatoos. Creek to investigate.Fires allowed outside of fire season.Rubbish bins so I don’t understand the rubbish and broken bottles. No internet - only a short drive down the road to connect.Small toilet facilities. No water available.

Loved the place, quiet and pretty. Had toilets, but make sure you take paper. Went for a lovely walk and plenty of birdlife.

A good place to go caravanning or camping. Each designated area is spacious and the place is beautiful. SEVERAL THINGS: Flies are unfortunately plentiful and oppressive between mid morning and before sunset. Mosquitoes are plentiful from sunset onwards. Occasional march-flies. Some people apparently like to arrive after dark which can detract from the silence and ambience. It's a fairly popular camp-site area so expect people coming and leaving all day. Be sure to setup your tent /caravan in a position so it gets full shade during the afternoon. There are X3 longdrop toilets available. The birds are beautiful but make a terrible ruckus into the early night and very early in the morning. Snakes are rare but certainly out there too. Bring your own kindling and firewood and check the fire ban dates first. At the time of writing this it was free and no prior permission was required from authorities before staying here. There is zero mobile phone coverage here. Bring a camera and sunscreen too!

A free camping area for up to 50 vehicles with shaded and flat gravel/dirt sites arranged along the Burra Creek many with fire pits and picnic tables. Limited facilities.Time and Cost: Free camp with no apparent time limitAccess: Turn off Goyder Hwy onto Worlds End Hwy. Short dirt road to camping area.Facilities: flat gravel/dirt mostly shaded sites some with fire pits and picnic tables. Three single long drop toilets and several bins spread around the camping area.Ambiance: quiet and serene with little road noise. Extensive bird life. The view over the Bald Hills Range and the walk along the Burra Creek are very nice.Limited facilities suit people with self-contained vehicles. Bring your own fire wood. Suit a 1 or 2 night stopover. Room to spread out throughout the camping area.
