The Violet Town library is terrific, with the friendliest most helpful librarian in the country, Denise! Lovely atmosphere, plenty of literature, dvds etc, to choose from. Well worth the visit.

Needing to kill some time on a hot day in Violet Town, I decided to stop by this library, mainly to make use of its air conditioning. Although seeking a cool refuge, I encountered something far warmer when I met Lee, the librarian, as soon as I walked in the door. Exuding classic country hospitality in every form, Lee went above and beyond not just for me -- but for every visitor to this little library -- truly making it the highlight of my day. Visiting this library, which I must also mention is well-stocked and immaculately maintained, honestly feels more like visiting the home of a beloved relative -- thanks to Lee -- and I look forward to stopping by again during my next visit to Violet Town!
