Beau's Pet Hotel

I really was impressed with Beaus. The whole process from the initial phone call with info to booking in our Oscar was very easy, and staff helped out with all my questions. Ha ha, I think Oscar was very happy here. When we picked him up, he jumped up on me to say hello and then turned around and went back to the lady who brought him out. I think he was a bit sad to leave . I would totally recommend Beaus Pet Hotel.

I had booked a 7 night stay for my dog. She had stayed in the premier suite. The workers took their time to care for her and shared plenty of pics when asked.Beau’s had quick response time when emailed and gave updates when asked.We are very happy with their service and would definitely use them again

I really wish I could give Beau’s a much higher rating as our dog loves staying there and we feel he is well cared for.However, unfortunately they have lost our dog’s slow feeder bowl. We have been in contact with Beau’s many times trying to get a response from the staff on whether they have found our bowl or will provide us with a reimbursement, given the high price we pay to have them look after our dog and his belongings. While this may not be a big deal to some and a bowl can be replaced, it is the fact that they have chosen to ignore our efforts to get in contact with them and receive any updates on the whereabouts of this bowl.We would have been lifelong customers there with our dog but now I will have to reconsider this given their lack of accountability over losing their customer’s belongings.

A very conflicted review on my part.Our small terrier has only ever stayed with family when apart and never at a facility. Upon calling Beau’s I immediately started having doubts as I couldn’t get through on the phone and then when I finally did, I was put on hold at length as they needed to attend to f2f customers that were arriving to collect their pets, only to then be told they’d call me back which didn’t eventuate to almost an hour later.Anyhow giving the benefit of the doubt after my extensive research via their website I proceeded to book in and pay in full for my dog to stay 5 nights when I got the callback.Dropping our dog off on the day we could witness the busy’ness of the business and those doubts from first trying to call etc came rushing back. Though we were committed now as we were flying away. We handed over all our dog’s belongings aka food, toys & bedding which were all listed down by admin. Our dog was greeted nicely by an attendant and taken away. We asked could we see his ‘premier room’ which we had booked but was told ‘no’ due to privacy reasons.During the course of the week I had to chase updates on our dog daily by both phone and email. Albeit one day, we’d always get the message bank on the phone and emails would generally get answered later in the day. In fact we were advised upon checking our dog in that it was best to chase updates via email being they are extremely busy and we’d probably not get them via phone. That concerned me majorly hearing that!!Our dog was stressed during his stay which we knew would be from being separated from us and in turn barely ate but I believe the staff tried their best by hand feeding and spending additional time with our dog at our cost all in turn trying to settle him.So whilst I don’t fault the care, I do believe the communication needs to be way better. For 5 nights and 3 x daily 15 minute massage/brushing it cost me over $500 yet here I was chasing updates. That perplexed me. I would have expected a regular daily update as part of the stay done on Beau’s end without hesitation.Upon picking our dog up we were greeted by 4 staff in total who gave us a rundown on how our dog was and had been. Clearly they knew our dog and had cared for him which we were grateful for.I’d suggest they need more staff to cope with both enquiries, communication of dog updates etc as that was the biggest let down which to some dog parents like me is imperative.A good business model that has simple improvements that can be made which would make the world of difference and I have no doubt the current staff would already know this and be frustrated by it.Please fix this Beau’s & make a better user experience for all pet owners.

Amazing option for when you need to leave your beloved pets somewhere. Facility is new and bright. Friendly staff. Updates on pets. Very happy with their service.

If you are considering booking your pet in for a long stay I would recommend you read the 1-star reviews first. I regret being seduced by the glowing day-care / short-stay reviews and the imprimatur of Guide Dogs SA and booking my pet dog in for a month-long stay in her own private / premier suite.This is my experience: I received photos on Day 2 and Day 4 followed by no contact till Day 19 when a concerning photo arrived. My friend who was my authorised Emergency Contact made a welfare visit and was so shocked by my pet's physical condition that she insisted on pulling my pet out immediately with a letter of authority that I had provided her for emergencies.In short, I am disappointed by the care my pet received and the poor communications to me. I am also disappointed by the admin system which did not register the update in my Emergency Contact (that I advised in-person on the day of drop-off and watched the receptionist key in and confirm verbally). And I am deeply disappointed by the extremely poor and rude treatment of my friend who was made to wait for 3 hours plus endure the threat to have the police called to remove her.I am, however, grateful to the CEO of Guide Dogs SA/NT who initiated an enquiry and the goodwill refund of the fees paid for the days not stayed.

Completely shambolic. Booked our fully vacinated cat in only to be kicked out the door at check in, the day before our holiday, due to a technicality that WE suggested they check when they took the booking but THEY said was all good. Terrible rude service person on the front desk then questioned whether or not we would get a refund for THEIR incompetent. Keep away from this place.

Upon reading other reviews, I see that nothing has changed regarding communication. I have rang twice, left messages to call me back as I was enquiring about my dog staying for 5 days. Will give it a miss and try elsewhere.

Theyre really good to our dogs. We take them here to get regularly groomed.We recently tried their hotel service and left our dogs in their care over a long weekend away. We were nervous about leaving them, like any dog owner would be. We got regular updates and never felt they weren't being pampered.The best review would be from the dogs themselves, who when we picked them up, after greeting us then tried to pull us back inside.Highly recommend.

Excellent staff and facilities. Very trustworthy place. I felt at ease leaving my hound with Beau's hotel.
