Very basic caravan Park and camp ground. Clean and tidy amenities block and good sized sites. Some are a bit uneven but the caretaker will show you the best place to camp according to the size of your caravan or trailer. $25 a night is reasonable. Only a short drive to the caves and 30 kms to Rockhampton. All good Jim

This beautiful and relaxing spot is a stone's throw from a pub and convenience store and within easy reach of Rocky and Yeppoon. It offer a choice of powered and unpowered sites both at very reasonable rates. You're able to have a fire in an above ground fire pit. We've been coming here for years but sadly have found out that it's closing on 15 September 2022. Hopefully the people who are closing this site down realise the flow-on effect of travellers who support the local businesses e.g. the pub and store and more widely afield in Rocky and Yeppoon. I am not sure where the pressure for this closure is coming from but it's a fair bet that the caravan parks lobby (behind the scenes) may have have something to do with it as is happening right around this great country. With the exorbitant prices that some caravan parks are demanding for a regimented plot of ground, a spark of electricity, a dribble of water and grey water drainage, it's any wonder that people are trying to make ends meet with their caravan travels. And then there's the fuel cost hike.....Let's hope that sense prevails and opposition from the businesses that are being affected can bring weight to bear and turn these restrictive decisions around. The real beauty of place like this is that they offer a no frills approach and vans are not squeezed in on top of each other usually in a beautiful bush setting with abundant bird and animal life.

Nice place to stay lots of room to move,the host was more then helpful and the amenities were good very clean would recommend to others

I would highly recommend a tour of the caves as its very interesting.

June and Dennis were very welcoming, lovely quiet area , amenities old but very clean. Little shop near pub has very friendly staff and helpful. Great spot.

Great Spot! Great Host! Great Price!No Stress and nice surroundings. Very basic show ground facilities with an easy commute to Yapoon or Rocky I would stay again, thanks Lance :)

Basic but immaculate amenities nice hot showers. Good flat grass sites for non powered, only $15 for a couple per night. Pet friendly. Drinking water is available, fill your tanks on your way in or out. Very helpful caretakers. For laundry go into Super Clean Laundromat in Beserker. Walking distance to a great country pub serving good beer and even better food. Steaks are perfect, excellent table service.

Very friendly and spacious place to spend the night. Power and water included, and for two people it was $20 per night. Excellent value! Great shady camping area.
