So happy with the knowledge, expertise and friendly service. Especially appreciated the time taken to explain mechanical concepts in lay terms that could be easily understood - thank you.

After being highly recommended I was somewhat disappointed at the prices that were charged. I sent my daughter there, he must have seen her coming as his hourly rate was about $40 higher per hour than other mechanics I’ve used. Over $900 dollars for a serviceand a couple of other bibs and bobs. He did also change the battery however this was only 18 months old. He did not check the price with her before going ahead amd carrying out works. If she had not been able to borrow the money she would not have been able to pay the fees. Wont be using him again.

It takes an expert mechanic to replace a Peugeot 406 Diesel timing belt in 3 hours. It would take me 3 days. Excellent value.

Very experienced and professional. Knew common issues of renault 2003 model, honest with the diagnosis and repair. Pricing was down the line worth the work. Replaced carburettor , accelerator sensors, added towbar and fixed a knock in front end steering rack . Then took car back for timing chain. Runs 100% for 2 years now

Fantastic service. Having a trustworthy mechanic is always important and Sims goes above and beyond. A mechanical issue due to a driving mishap put my 308 out of action. Sims fit me in immediately during a busy period and got me running without breaking the bank. They have been good for my scheduled servicing and now great for those unexpected repairs.I would highly recommend to anybody.

Shout out to Joe (I think that's his name) for his help with my Citroen C4. Months ago I thought my car was in need of some serious repair as it was steaming from the engine. I called RACV and asked them to tow it to Sim's Motors as the guy from RACV told me not to drive it as he said it would overheat. It was towed to Sim's motors, Joe looked at it and came to the conclusion that it was just the Coolant lid that hadn't been secured properly, causing coolant to leak out and my engine to appear to be smoking. He filled it up with coolant that was in the trunk, tightened it and told me to pick it up. Best. Service. Ever.
