first of all, they are really quick and the prints are really good. I went in there yesterday to pick up my film prints and some of my photos had been cropped wrongly (absolutely not their fault at all) they explained to me that it was done automatically by the machine.And without asking, they took my negatives and started to re-scan and reprint it for me. She even helped out with some touch ups and adjustments and the print came out even better!Love the quality of their service. i'll definitely be going back!

This is a housing commission estate a great place to live right on the lake but there is talk they may be chopping down these beautiful trees that full of Wildlife have been there some of them before the place was built the trees and wildlife do not deserve this to happen to them and neither do the people that live there that love these trees and their wildlife

Good place to develop film. The confirmation email saying your order is finished does show up in spam though.

The service that Pro-Am provides when developing film photographs is fantastic. The scans are high quality, you can have your photos made available by email and the turn around is never more than one week.However, it is incredibly difficult to access these services due to the businesses limited opening times. They are only open Monday - Thursday between 10am and 4pm. For those who work full-time, it is impossible to get photos developed.It would be great if they either stayed open late one evening so that people could visit after work, or were open for a few hours on a Saturday morning. I mirror the other comments that the price per roll for developing is a bit expensive and it is also disappointing that they do not offer any sort of loyalty program (i.e. develop 10 rolls and get the 11th free, or a bundle discount).Pro-Am has the monopoly on quality film developing in Newcastle, which is particularly frustrating as there is no alternative in terms of price or opening hours. I can tolerate paying ~$20 per roll for scans + developing only if they were actually open during reasonable hours to be able to drop my film off.Hopefully their opening hours change soon and I can update my review with a higher rating.

The girls at pro am are super lovely, the turn around is SO fast. I take my film in on Friday’s and always get them back on a Monday (they are closed weekends) so essentially I get my photos back the next day every single time! It is a little on the expensive side but I’m always happy to pay these prices as the quality of the prints is always amazing. I’ll never go anywhere else!

I havent dealt with film since I was a kid. Got a disposable film camera and these guys were super speedy as processing it and you can get your photos emailed in digital form now as well!

Service is great, digital copies come through incredibly quick! Only reason this isn't 5 stars is that the opening times can make it a bit tricky to get to

I went in with my first roll of film ever shot not too long ago. The man was very helpful and said the photos would probably be ready the day after. The photos ended up being completed the same day I took the roll in and I'm very happy with the results. The prices are pretty fair too so I would recommend Pro-Am

The limited hours make it very difficult for full time workers to visit Pro Am. Even with Fridays off, I am disappointed to see you guys still remain closed on a typical business day, let alone weekends. Your Google business hours are not updated and this is misleading. The people of Newcastle want to support your small business if you actually want to be open to service their needs.I applaud the quality of the scans/prints as I have never had issue. The turnover time is average.Pro Am monopolises the film development game in Newcastle with their expensive prices with no loyalty programs offered. If any photography/film printing enthusiast with a contemporary business plan is considering opening up in Newcastle with the aim of providing competitive prices, or bulk film discount rates as the film print shops do in Sydney, please save the local community the suffering and open up shop.

I had Pro-Am print twelve of my favourite digital photos so I could fill a blank wall with my work. The girls there were great and helped me choose canvas as being the right option for me.The canvases were ready in just over a week, despite me telling them there was no rush.One of the images printed with the colours out compared to the original file, but they happily reprinted it for me and was ready within days. The final prints all look great - accurate renderings of my original files.
