We have tried every fish and chip shop around our area and Pelicans is by far the best one yet… Specially the steak burger with the works… staff is so friendly and not too over priced… highly recommend :)

The chips were the crispest and had that old good chip taste. The cheeseburger was simple but so tasty. Who knew cheese, patty and tomato sauce could taste so good? The patty had the best flavour and with the onion? Oh, superb. Best takeaway in ipswich by far. Even the giant burgers of down street seafood don't compare.

Food is good, staff are awesome, prices are reasonable, parking is easy.5 stars despite the 3 star Atmosphere" as this is a takeaway restaurant so it's irrelevant unless you're planning a fancy night out; if you are planning a fancy night out... maybe try somewhere else."

We’re new to the area and just stopped to pick up lunch.We bought 2 burger combos. Then went back the next day and bought 2 more. They have such fair pricing and good portion sizing. And the food was so nice both days.We were first served by a guy and second day served by a younger girl. Both days an older lady was there too.And all of the staff were so friendly, and helpful!100% would recommend Pelican Takeaway!
