We reached out to Mad about Cakes based on the reviews we had read online. Madie was excellent throughout the process.We ordered some samples of both the gluten and regular cake options, which all tasted fantastic. We also had Madie make custom cookies for our bomboniere.Our guests commented that cake tasted amazing. The small amount of leftovers we had disappeared very quickly the next day!

We used Mad About Cakes for my daughter's wedding in January 2023, and we couldn't be happier. The cake was exactly what we asked for, looked beautiful in the room, and tasted fabulous. Madie understood our needs and is so creative, talented with such flair for the theatrical that she created the centrepiece to our party that had our guests drawing their breath, oohing and aahing with excitement. It really set the tone and expectations for the night. Not to mention the fact that they were devoured as they were so darned delicious! This was the second time I've ordered a birthday cake for family. Both times they've been a hit. Taste delicious. And look spectacular! So much easier when you just know who to go to when you need a magnificent cake for an occasion.

Madie made our wedding cake and we absolutely LOVED it. We gave them complete creative freedom to come up with the design and it was more than we had imagined. I have been getting cakes and custom cookies from Madie for a few years now and she never fails to disappoint! The most recent one was for my son’s baptism. They always have the right balance and are never too sweet and the salted caramel filling was absolutely delicious! The presentation is always impeccable and guests always ask where I get my cakes from because they love them. Won’t go anywhere else!

I have had cakes made by Madie a number of times and they are never short of amazing.Nothing is too hard, she is extremely patient and kind and so easy to work with. My daughter’s 12th birthday cake was exactly what she wanted and made her day! Most importantly, the cake also tasted as delicious as it looked which is not always the case when having a cake made for an event.Thank you Madie, you are brilliant!
