We could not be more impressed with the work that South East Paving completed at our home. The guy was fantastic - he worked with us to make sure we were happy through all stages of the job. Right from our initial meeting on site, to our quote and finally, the completion of the work, he (and his team) was professional, friendly and communicative

Just want to thank South East Paving team on an excellent concrete job they have done to our home. They were very quick to respond to our inquiry and had the job done within the time-frame we have both agreed too (weather permitting of course).

South East paving team completely transformed our driveway from a weed infested gravel wasteland into a proper posh block paved masterpiece. They turn up early each day and put in a full day's work until the job is finished. Great job, very happy.

After 6months of hell with SE Paving we end up hiring another concreter to start over works to our drive way plus. We paid Anthony Sgroi 40k to do excavation of soil, retaining wall & exposed concrete to side of house and driveway. He is an absolute nightmare, he has caused so much trouble for my family. Don’t let his veneer fake smile fool you. They do not know what they are doing.Extremely unprofessional, no prep work before pouring concrete, bad workmanship etc.They left our property in such a bad state. We have emails and text with Anthony advising he would fix it all and acknowledged the poor quality of his work, but yet he dragged us along for months with false promises he would fix it and then he stopped communicating with us.We’ve had to pay another 15k to have another company come in and do our driveway plus we’ll be out of pocket up to another 10k to pave over the concrete to the side of our house because there is no way of fixing what he had done to the concrete in that area. The levels are absolutely shockingly bad the only option is to pave over it. Retaining walls are not level.Truely a nightmare with SE paving so do yourself a favour and run miles from them.

DO NOT BELEIVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS POSTED ON THIS PAGE. We took Anthony to Fair Claims tribunal and he failed to show up, he has scammed many people out of thousands of $$ do not trust this business. Over promises and under delivers. More than 5 months on from quote and no driveway and out of pocket $5K. All the promises in the world but still no refund of deposit. Very disappointing and very ripped off. Do not recommend.

16/06/2023 Update - Still no contact and our VCAT hearing is coming up in 6 weeks. We have been in contact with plenty of other families scammed by this guy (Search for the Current Affair episode). None have received any contact and in every case he has not turned up to VCAT (And even one case court). Ignore these fresh reviews, click on any of them they are bots with reviews from all around world and yet somehow South East Paving?**BEWARE** We transferred South East Paving $13,700 to cover our driveway as the concrete delivery was scheduled for the next morning. After Anthony received the payment we NEVER SAW HIM AGAIN! This was over 50 days ago. We haven't been able to access our house safely without climbing through the garden for nearly 2 months. Phone calls and messages are ignored. If this review is active we still have not received our driveway and he still has our money. It has been a horrific experience.
